Student answer (Band 5.0)

In most of nations, individuals do not recycle their rubbish as they could be done. Most of developed countries have no proper system of extra ordinary things. People should take a part with authorities and help each others then we can be tackle with physical waste.

First of all, I think it is due to less guideance, people used products and their cover throughout everywhere easily, although they are useless. Citizens do not use bins so, every street look like full of rubbish with all corners. This issue is very common in city side, in countyside, villagers use these extra things for burning fire. In schools, students do not take care of enviroment, just through anything everywhere they want.

Secondly, people should tackle with this problem by easily if they do clean their society then burn all rubbish together. Governments also play a good rule, similary they should make teams they get all trash from society and make it clean. Due to this, we save our health and get fresh air which make us healthy. Individuals should be careful for this and also teach their offsprings beacuse they do not know and do not think about cleanness. Governments use garbage for recycling and make something useable. Addionally, government should banned plastic bags beacause it is more common thing to produce junks.

In conclusion, people have less knowledge about trash, they should be aware of bins. Government increase bins and keep it in every corner of streets. Families easily use them so we can save our environment by trash.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that limited guidance contributes to poor recycling, and propose more bins, government collection teams, education, and restrictions on plastic bags. These are relevant responses, and the conclusion returns to public awareness and access to bins. However, the explanation of why people fail to recycle is limited: littering and burning rubbish are described, but the reasons behind these behaviours are not clearly explored. Several solutions also need development. For example, “burn all rubbish together” does not explain how this would improve recycling and may undermine the environmental aim. Add specific explanation or an example showing how education, convenient sorting facilities, or collection services would change people’s behaviour.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. “First of all” and “Secondly” signal the main sections, and the reader can generally identify which points concern causes and which concern solutions. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from guidance to street litter, rural burning, and schools without clearly connecting these examples. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, as in “Due to this” and “Additionally,” while “then” in the introduction does not establish a clear relationship between the ideas. Group related points and explain how each example supports the main point; clearer referencing and transitions would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “recycle,” “rubbish,” “bins,” “plastic bags,” and “environment,” so the topic is usually identifiable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or awkward choices make meaning less clear. Phrases such as “extra ordinary things,” “physical waste,” “city side,” and “make something useable” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “guideance,” “enviroment,” “beacuse,” and “Addionally.” Aim for precise, common environmental terms and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “household waste,” “recycling facilities,” and “rural areas” where appropriate, rather than relying on vague expressions such as “extra things.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “although” and a conditional idea beginning “if they do clean their society.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine clauses often contain errors that make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “Most of developed countries have,” “then we can be tackle,” and “people should tackle with this problem by easily if they do clean.” There are also problems with verb forms and agreement in “Governments increase bins” and “which make us healthy.” Work on basic sentence patterns first: use a clear subject and verb, check articles and agreement, and avoid joining several ideas in one sentence. Then practise accurate complex clauses with “because,” “if,” and “which.”
