Student answer (Band 5.5)

Although it is true that a large number of nations, Individuals do not recycle their unncessary garbage as much as they able to do. In my opinion, I largely believe that people are too busy their daily lives. However, there are numerous ways to change this policy but particularly governments can encourage people to recycle their rubbish.

To begins with, nowadays everyone busy their personal lives. This is mainly because people have to responsibilities about their work, family, and society. So, they do not have enough time to recycle their garbage. Furthermore, eveyone do not know that they can create new things from the garbage. For this reason people did not experiment during their life. For example, majority companies create fertilizer from rubbish. As a result, people may earn extra money to create new things.

Despite this reasons, however there are many ways to change this policy. First of all government should focus to make advertise about the recycling because people can learn from advertise. Additionally, advertise can help individuals to how to reuse ther rubbish. Also it can help people to make new objects such as flower, small home, or doll from the waste plastic. Another solution is that the public authorities can start extra class how to influence people to recycle their unnecessary waste. Although it need to a huge investment for start new class but it can help protect the environment as well as save money. For instance, a recent survey showed Japan began a class for all ages people how to recycling the rubbish. Consequently, people may aware of rubbish and they continuously make new item.

In conclusion, recycling different kinds of item can have numerous positive development for people especially people protect their eco system and they may earn extra money from recycling products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that people are too busy and may not know how to reuse waste, then propose advertising and classes as solutions. Your position—that governments should encourage recycling—is clear. The examples about fertilizer and a recycling class in Japan help make the discussion relevant. However, some ideas are only partly explained. For instance, the claim that people are busy does not show why recycling necessarily takes too much time, and the point about earning money from new products is not clearly connected to why people currently recycle less. Develop each cause with a clear explanation and show how each proposed measure would overcome it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begins with,” “Furthermore,” and “First of all” make the stages of the argument visible. Overall, the reader can follow your main points. At times, however, links are mechanical or the relationship between ideas is unclear. “Despite this reasons, however” combines contrasting signals awkwardly, while “For this reason people did not experiment” does not clearly follow from the preceding point. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the logical connection between each claim and its example explicit. Clearer referencing would also help readers identify what “it” refers to in the solutions paragraph.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “rubbish,” “fertilizer,” “waste plastic,” and “protect the environment,” so the subject is generally clear. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as “public authorities” and “extra class.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make the writing less natural: “make advertise,” “unnecessary garbage,” “new item,” and “eco system” are examples. Some words are repeated frequently, particularly “people,” “rubbish,” and “advertise.” Build a more precise set of recycling-related expressions and check spelling and word forms; this will make your meaning clearer and reduce repetition.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although,” and “that.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is usually understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “To begins with,” “everyone busy,” “people may aware,” and “how to recycling the rubbish.” The sentence beginning “Although it need to a huge investment” also shows difficulty forming a subordinate clause and its main clause accurately. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and correctly inflected verb, then check agreement and articles. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
