Student answer (Band 6.0)

In many countries, indivdual's do not reprocess their household wastes as much as they could. It mainly because there is lack of knowledge about harmfulness of this negligence, they do not have enough facilities to recycled their rubbish.Introduction of recycalable products and legal law can be helpful in this regard. In this essay we will discuss the main problems and effective measure to solve these problems.

The main reason of low recycling process is lack of awareness, people do not know the consequences of these harmfull products on atomespeher. if they know that how much air polluction is caused by non-disposable plastic they definitely stop using it. for example; plastic bags are widely use as household main item but it can be replaced by fabric bags which can easily recycled. Moreover, People do no have enough facilities of recycling, In many housing area there are only one dumping drums and the residence of society use the same drum, so it can be difficult for them to seperate their rubbish. Furthermore, plastic products are widely available at cheaper rate so people find it economical to buy these products.

However, some measures can be taken to prevent this issue. Governemnt can introduce legal law, which can be imposing tax on non-recycled products and by providing subsidy on recycled items. There must be some penalities on companies who breaks the rules. Muncipilty commity can also be helpful to arrange campign to create awareness on recycling. This issue can only be resolved, if public and government work side by side. There must be more bins facilities in society, must be thre to four bins in one block, residence can contribute money to buy dustbins.

In many countries, people often ignore recycling their rubbish, due to lack of knowledge and facilities. but it can be possible with government's help and public's positive approach. Because afterall, its beneficial for every human being.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both parts of the question: you identify limited awareness, inadequate recycling facilities and the low cost of plastic as reasons, then suggest education campaigns, more bins, taxes and subsidies. Your position—that government and the public need to act together—is clear. The example contrasting plastic bags with fabric bags also helps make one point concrete. This meets the task well overall, but some ideas are less fully explained than others: for instance, you mention the environmental harm of plastic without developing its consequences, and the proposed penalties for companies are not linked to a specific problem or explained. To strengthen the response, explain how each measure would change people’s behaviour and develop the examples with clearer cause-and-effect reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a concluding summary. The progression from reasons to remedies is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore” and “However” help guide the reader. This is a coherent arrangement, though some linking is mechanical and connections between ideas are occasionally unclear. For example, the shift from awareness to plastic bags would be smoother if you explicitly connected the example to the effects of poor recycling knowledge. The solutions paragraph also moves quickly from government policy to municipal campaigns and residents buying bins. Group related actions and use clearer references to show how each proposal addresses a cause; this would make the progression more controlled and flexible.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “lack of awareness,” “subsidy,” “penalties” and “create awareness,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. However, the range and control are limited by repeated or inaccurate word choices and numerous spelling errors. Examples include “reprocess” for recycling, “harmfull products,” “air polluction,” “recycalable” and “Muncipilty commity.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “legal law” and “recycling process.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, which is consistent with this level of lexical control. Build a reliable set of topic-specific terms and check spelling and collocations; for example, use “recycling facilities,” “environmental damage” and “recyclable products.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea (“if they know… they definitely stop using it”) and a relative clause (“which can easily recycled”). However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “It mainly because there is lack” omits a verb, while “which can easily recycled” needs a passive verb form. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “companies who breaks the rules” and the run-on sequence beginning “In many housing area.” Aim first for accurate basic clauses, then practise conditionals, passive forms and relative clauses. Proofread for complete sentences, verb forms, articles and punctuation.
