Student answer (Band 5.0)
In many countries ,the garbage is not been recycled when they have a chance to do it . this can be overcome by taking the precautions and following some rules.
many people who were households don't have an idea about this recycling because of that they were throwing away the garbage without recyling so government should take some actions by adverstising about the recycling whether what products can be recycled and which cannot.
The students who were studying should be educated and provided the enough knowledge about the recycle. then for upcoming ages it would be easier to bring the awarness about the recycling etc.
Manufacturing units must take care whether their products can be recycled or not they should mention on their company labelling with a logo of recycle so people can easily recognise the product and made a seperation which can be recycled and which are not recycle.
The government should provide the residential areas with two different bins one should be recycle and other is junk so people while throwing the junk they can quickly recgines whether the product is recycled or not .
Due to the lack of knowledge in public regarding the recycle the people are not able to recognise whether the product can be recycled or not so by following the solutions that were mentioned above we can prevent the people by doing recycle.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify lack of public knowledge as a reason and suggest education, product labels, and separate bins. These are relevant, practical ideas, and the response stays on topic. However, the task is only partially developed: the explanation of why people do not recycle is largely limited to not knowing what can be recycled, and the proposed measures are listed rather than explained with examples or likely effects. The conclusion repeats the lack-of-knowledge point without adding a developed final insight. The response also does not meet the stated 250-word minimum, which limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop each main point with a specific example and explain how it would change behaviour.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from a brief introduction to several proposed solutions and a concluding sentence. Each paragraph generally focuses on one idea, such as educating students or providing separate bins. However, the overall progression is limited: the essay moves quickly from the cause to a series of recommendations, with little explanation linking them. Connectors such as “because of that,” “then,” and “so” are used mechanically, and the final paragraph repeats earlier points. Some references, including “this” and “that were mentioned above,” are not precise. Use clearer topic sentences, develop the cause before moving to solutions, and link each recommendation to its expected result.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycled,” “manufacturing units,” “residential areas,” and “labelling,” so the reader can follow the subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “recycle/recycling” and “people.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “recyling,” “adverstising,” “awarness,” “seperation,” and “recgines.” Some expressions are unnatural or imprecise, for example “the recycle” and “a logo of recycle.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Build a wider set of accurate terms for waste management and practise common collocations, such as “recycling facilities” and “recyclable materials.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example the sentence beginning “Manufacturing units must take care whether…” and the explanation beginning “Due to the lack of knowledge…”. This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors include “the garbage is not been recycled,” “many people who were households,” and “the students who were studying should be educated,” where verb forms or sentence construction are not controlled. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several sentences beginning in lowercase and some run-on structures. These problems can make the reader pause to interpret the message. Practise accurate present-tense statements and divide longer ideas into complete, well-punctuated sentences.
