Student answer (Band 5.0)

Today, many factories and people do not recycle the waste products all our the world although they have the facilities to recycle it easier. In my perspective, the waste material which is able to recycle must have been recycle by them it safe your investment and also make the envirnoment clean.

To begin with the detriments of ignoring the recycling of waste products. If we dont recycle the row material it make our envirnoment polluted and open the way for diseases. Smog, fog and other envirnomental diseases are spread by it and many new and unbeatale diseases are come in our sociaty. Moreover, instead of buying new things it is beneficial for as to recycle the old thing to make it easy and less fundamental. The ignore of recycle made our country polluted and it became the cause of shame in front of other world. For example, in 2025 lahore become the most polluted country of the world and now it make a good progress to make their country clean and encourage the recylcing products.

Now the duty of every person is that to use the product eventhough it can not be able to use as a be use further and encourage the government to make the recycle system easier and support able. For example, people in islamabad is mostly rich become they use to recycle and to use it even it is not able to work more.

In conclusion, recycling process is important for the envirnomental health and as a safety from the anknown diseases. So the government should must influnce their people to encourage the recycling process and decrease the menufactoring of new products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions in a general way: you mention pollution and disease as consequences of low recycling, and suggest that people reuse products and that governments make recycling systems easier. However, the response only partially answers the task because it does not clearly explain why people fail to recycle in the first place. Much of the first body paragraph discusses the harms of pollution rather than causes of low recycling, and the proposed solutions are brief and not explained. The Lahore example is relevant to pollution but does not clearly demonstrate a cause or an effective recycling measure. Develop a clear explanation of barriers, such as inconvenient collection or lack of awareness, then connect each solution directly to one of those barriers.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph shifts from the effects of not recycling to the benefits of reusing items, without a clear link to why people do not recycle. The second paragraph introduces individual and government responsibilities but gives little explanation of how these actions would work. Some references are also unclear, such as “it” in “Smog, fog and other environmental diseases are spread by it.” Organise the body around one main point per paragraph and use linking phrases to show cause, effect and solution more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “waste products,” “recycle,” “polluted,” “diseases,” and “manufacturing,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make ideas difficult to understand. For example, “environmental diseases” does not clearly express the intended meaning, while “the ignore of recycle” and “support able” are not natural expressions. Spelling errors such as “envirnoment,” “sociaty,” and “recylcing” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for causes and solutions, such as “lack of awareness,” “recycling facilities,” and “waste collection services,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences using clauses and connectors, for example, “If we dont recycle the row material it make our envirnoment polluted,” but these structures are often faulty. Errors in verb forms, agreement and sentence construction occur frequently: “it make” should be “it makes,” “diseases are come” needs a correct verb form, and “people in Islamabad is” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. The opening sentence also has an unclear structure, and punctuation is inconsistent, including missing apostrophes in contractions. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement, tense and sentence boundaries.
