Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question by giving reasons—busy routines and limited knowledge—and suggesting public campaigns and stricter rules. These ideas are relevant, but they remain general and are not supported with a specific example or much explanation; for instance, you mention that people are busy without explaining how collection systems or household routines contribute. The proposed “special hours” for recycling is also unclear, so the solution is not fully explained. Your position is broadly understandable, but the introduction’s phrase “what measures want to take” does not clearly identify who should act. The response is 244 words, six words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to develop your points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main sections. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the move from people’s lack of recycling knowledge to the harm caused by plastic needs an explicit explanation of how awareness affects behaviour. The solution paragraph’s reference to “special hours” is difficult to connect to the earlier proposals. Repeated use of “government” and “rubbish,” along with abrupt sentence breaks, makes cohesion somewhat mechanical. Develop each point in a clearer cause–effect or problem–solution sequence and use referencing more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “climate change,” “campaign,” and “environment,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “contemporary word,” “recyling,” “unware,” and “vast rang”; phrases such as “creating consciousness” and “safe our surrounding” are also unnatural in this context. Repetition of “rubbish,” “government,” and “environment” further restricts precision. Build a small set of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise alternatives for waste types, public awareness, and recycling arrangements would help express your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer structures, including “although rubbish can harm to the environment but the problem can be solved,” and use simple sentences to communicate the main points. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms. For example, “most of the countries has” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “they do not have enough time for recycle” uses an incorrect grammatical pattern. “Government make strict rules” also lacks the appropriate verb form and article. Sentence boundaries and capitalization are inconsistent, as in “they spend most of the day time in office. that why…”. Practise accurate simple clauses first, then combine them with correctly formed subordinate clauses.
