Student answer (Band 4.5)

In many destinations, people do not recycle which thing they use and rubbish as much as they could. In my opinion that is negative ting.

From my perspective, nowadays in many world side people do not rcucle their rubbish as much they could. If people have do not recycle their rubbish that countries have more pollution.Additionally, people will do not recycle own need things which things they are do use that pollution will increase in their countries that will diseases will more grow in their countries.Furthermore, if people will do not recycle their rubbish then they have bad envoirment in their country. For instance if people have recyle their rubbish things then they can again use them and make again which things they have rubbish. In modern countries that countries have proper recycling system. They have clean envoirment in own country.

In addition to this in my point of view and experience when i was in childhood life on that time our country had not recycling system. After that in our country had more diseased more. After that our country start thinkings about recycling system then these problem would solve in our country. For example in the world goverments and people do not recycle system their rubbish things then they will face more difficulties. So country goverment should create proper plan about how to recylce usage things and recyle them.

To sum up, in the world country goverments should make a plan about recyling things and people should resycle their rubbish things. Therefore, i believe that it should be not in countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions: you suggest that weak recycling contributes to pollution and disease, and recommend that governments create a proper recycling plan. The childhood example also attempts to explain how a recycling system could help. However, the response only minimally develops these points. The reasons are repeated rather than clearly explained, and the example about your country does not specify what changed or how recycling reduced the problems. The opening comment that the situation is “negative” does not establish a clear position on the causes and solutions. To strengthen the response, explain specific barriers—such as limited collection facilities or lack of public awareness—and develop practical measures, such as convenient bins, education, or incentives.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and phrases such as “Additionally,” “Furthermore,” and “To sum up” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several points are joined together without clear relationships. For example, the sequence about not recycling, pollution, disease, and the environment repeats similar claims rather than building a distinct explanation. References such as “these problem” and “which things” also make it unclear what earlier ideas refer to. Organise the essay around one paragraph explaining causes and another presenting solutions, then use shorter sentences and clear links to show how each example supports its main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a small set of relevant topic words, including “recycle,” “rubbish,” “pollution,” “environment,” and “government,” so the general subject is recognisable. However, vocabulary is basic and highly repetitive, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors strain the reader. Examples include “rcucle,” “envoirment,” “diseased,” and “recyling.” Phrases such as “world side” and “recycle usage things” are difficult to interpret, while “negative ting” does not express the intended meaning clearly. Build a more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. Useful terms include “waste,” “recycling facilities,” “public awareness,” and “reduce pollution”; use them in clear, natural combinations rather than repeating “things” and “rubbish.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences using “if,” “when,” and “then,” but control is very limited, and frequent errors sometimes distort meaning. For example, “If people have do not recycle” combines incompatible verb forms, while “people will do not recycle” uses an incorrect negative future construction. Agreement and sentence structure are also problematic in “these problem would solve,” and several sentences run together without reliable punctuation. Most clauses follow a similar simple pattern, so the range remains narrow. Practise forming accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time: for example, “If people do not recycle, pollution may increase.” Check verb forms, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries during revision.
