Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowdays people in many countries do notm recycle their rubbish as much as they could its true.
there are several reasons behind this from my opinion they do not have knowledge to recycle their rubbish to protect the enviornment. and secondly some people find difficulties to recycle the rubbish and time consuming. they do not have separate plastic papper glass from their household waste moreover they are not enough recycling bins in some areas so people throw everything in the dustbin. There are several reasons to reasons to solve it government should organise awarness campaign in school and public places to educate people about recycling secondly more bins should be provides in the streets parks and residentials areas for example separate bins should be used for separate palastic paper and glass furthermore government should intoduce strict rules and give rewards to people who recycle their waste properly.
from my opinion people should understand and aware about recycle their waste properly to protect enviornment from pollution and govrnment should introduce strict rule and provide much bin in public places to throw the rubbish at their right place and if someone find to throgh the rubbish on the road govermennt should take stict step and give them punishment

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question: you suggest that people lack knowledge and find recycling inconvenient, then propose awareness campaigns, more bins, rules and rewards. These are relevant ideas, but they are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with a specific example, so the response only partially develops the task. Your position is present, especially in the final paragraph, but it is repetitive and not consistently expressed clearly. The response contains 198 words, which is 52 words below the 250-word minimum; the 8 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Use the extra space to explain how a proposed measure would change behaviour and add a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic sequence from causes to possible solutions and then a concluding recommendation, so the reader can identify the main direction of your response. However, the ideas are crowded together, with no clear paragraph breaks to separate the causes, solutions and conclusion. Linking words such as “secondly,” “moreover” and “furthermore” show an attempt to connect points, but they are sometimes used mechanically, and the repeated “from my opinion” does not create clear progression. The phrase “There are several reasons to reasons to solve it” also disrupts the connection between ideas. Organise the response into distinct paragraphs and use clear topic sentences, then explain each point before moving to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycle,” “household waste,” “recycling bins,” “campaign” and “pollution,” which makes your main meaning generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “rubbish,” “people” and “government.” Spelling errors such as “enviornment,” “awarness,” “palastic” and “govrnment,” along with inaccurate expressions such as “much bin” and “strict rule,” sometimes make the message harder to follow. Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the causes and solutions without relying on repeated basic terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Your response mainly uses simple statements and attempts some longer sentences to connect ideas, but control is weak and errors occur frequently. For example, “people in many countries do notm recycle their rubbish as much as they could its true” joins clauses without appropriate punctuation, while “they do not have separate plastic papper glass from their household waste” lacks a clear grammatical structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals and verb forms, as in “more bins should be provides” and “government should introduce strict rule.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise writing complete sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and using full stops to separate ideas.
