Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries, citizens do not recycle their rubbish as much they could. There are couple of reason behind this act, which could be solved with some best decsions.
To begin with, some people believe that recycling should be done by governement. In fact they said,we are unable to do it so we should not care much about it.But some of them believe they should also work on the recycling of the trash because it cause pollution in air which has bad impact on their health. These reasons are causing major issues in the development of countries. To minimize this, people should demand help from the government, but before this should have to be agree on single page.
Furthermore, there is another reason behind this, individuals do not have much resources to recycle the rubbish because it requires heavy machines and other equipments which they can not buy.The cost of these equipments are too much which is out of their reach.Government should focus on the recycling of the rubbish and should provide machines to the citizens so they can recycle it.Government should also provide workers as well, because it is for the betterment of both country and population. This recycling could also produce electricity which is the essential need of every country.
To sum up,goverment should provide every facility to the citizens because it will create healthy environment in country which is beneficial for both people and country.Citizens should also support their government and unite together as well. They should be available for their country whenever the need occur.Rubbish can harm the health of the people which play negtive role in the development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question by suggesting that people expect the government to take responsibility and that individuals lack access to costly recycling equipment. You also propose government-provided machines and workers, and mention that recycling could generate electricity. These are relevant points, but the explanation of why people do not recycle is not always clear: the contrast between people who think recycling is the government’s job and those who recognise its health benefits is difficult to follow. The proposed solution that citizens should “demand help” and “agree on single page” is also unclear and not explained. Develop each main reason with a specific example, and explain how each proposed action would make recycling easier or more appealing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning with “To begin with” and “Furthermore,” and a concluding paragraph. This gives the reader some guidance, and the ideas generally remain on the topic of recycling. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven. For example, the first body paragraph moves from public attitudes to pollution and then to citizens demanding government help without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “In fact” and “But” do not always express the intended relationship, while “To sum up” introduces several new claims rather than simply drawing together the argument. Organise each paragraph around one clear point and use references and transitions that make the connections explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “recycling,” “rubbish,” “pollution,” “machines,” and “electricity,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. Phrases such as “some best decisions,” “single page,” and “the cost of these equipments are too much” do not express the intended meaning naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “governement,” “decsions,” and “negtive.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your ideas. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; for example, use “recycling facilities” and “the cost is prohibitive” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses with “because” and “which,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur in basic sentence patterns, such as “as much they could” (missing “as”), “there are couple of reason” (article and plural agreement), and “the cost … are” (subject–verb agreement). Some longer constructions are difficult to follow, particularly “but before this should have to be agree on single page.” Punctuation and spacing around commas are also inconsistent, and several sentences join ideas without clear grammatical links. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then build longer sentences with one clear main clause and correctly formed subordinate clauses.
