Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowdays, in many countries people are often reused their waste products. Most of individuals prefer to throw and purchase a new one. I belive that government need to issues policy or rewared systems for recycling product. Even, provide awairness about recycling and environment protection.

Globally, the people used to throw waste product in junk yard without knowing their orignal values. Because of that many countries have sortage of electronices spare parts and they need to import materials from different region. So, government should take steps on this problem and create policies or rewared systems for recycling, For instance, country like China provide loyalty points to locals, as a result that is beneficial when the citizens apply for loans or government schems. It also inspaier people to understand the important of recycling and how its affect countries economic growth.

However, some students prefer to used new books every year. So, schools should provide facilities in which students return their books after passing their class. Moreover, in education systems there is particular subject on useing wastage in efficent way. In canadian schools primary standerds students always have one leacture on subject such as how we protect environment thorugh recycling. In my opinion, providing influance from childhood is more effactive to motive people for recycling their rubbish.

In conclusion, I believe that people should reuse the waste product and not throw in junk. So, I think the education is efficent way to aware citizens about recycling other method method is to provide rewareds on collecting or recycling waste.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you suggest that people discard usable materials because they do not recognise their value, and propose government incentives and education as solutions. The examples about loyalty points and schools reusing books help make these ideas relevant. However, the reasons for low recycling are not explored in much depth, and some claims are unclear—for example, the link between discarded waste and a shortage of electronic spare parts needs explanation. The solutions are also asserted more than developed: explain how rewards would work and why they would change household behaviour. Your position is generally identifiable, but the response would be stronger with clearer, more fully supported explanations for each main point.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for proposed measures, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Because of that,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression is sometimes difficult to follow because the first body paragraph moves from discarded waste to imported spare parts and then to a China example without making the links explicit. The paragraph beginning “However” introduces school-book reuse, but “However” does not clearly signal a contrast with the previous point. Some connections are also repetitive, particularly the repeated references to government rewards and education in the conclusion. Make each paragraph focus on one clear point and use linking phrases only when their relationship is accurate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “recycling,” “loyalty points,” “government schemes,” “environment protection,” and “economic growth.” These choices show awareness of the subject, but the range is limited and several inaccurate word forms, spellings, and collocations make parts of the message difficult to understand. For example, “rewared systems,” “sortage of electronices spare parts,” and “provide influance from childhood” do not communicate the intended ideas naturally. Repetition of “recycling,” “waste product,” and “government” also limits variety. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocation; for instance, use “shortage of electronic spare parts” and “raise awareness from childhood.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both short statements and some attempts at longer, connected sentences, such as “Because of that many countries have…” and “In my opinion, providing…”. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “people are often reused” and “government need to issues,” where the verb patterns are incorrect, as well as “students prefer to used,” which needs a consistent infinitive form. Some sentences are fragments, including “Even, provide awareness…” and “Because of that…” when used without a complete main clause. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms.
