Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify limited environmental awareness as a reason and suggest government awareness programmes and separate bins as solutions. The India examples make the response relevant. However, the explanation of why people fail to recycle is narrow: the discussion of industrial pollution describes a cause of pollution rather than explaining why individuals do not recycle. The proposed measures are also asserted rather than developed; for example, explain how public campaigns or the green and blue bins would change people’s habits. Your position is generally identifiable, but the repeated claim that lack of awareness is the main cause leaves other possible barriers unexplored. More precise, supported explanations would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly separate causes from solutions. This gives the reader a basic overall structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the point about industrialisation shifts from recycling behaviour to pollution, and the solution paragraph begins with a repeated version of the question rather than a clear topic sentence. Linking phrases such as “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” are used mechanically, while repeated wording about people not recycling makes the argument feel circular. Improve cohesion by giving each paragraph a focused main idea, then explaining and illustrating it in a logical sequence. Use pronouns and transitions only where their references and relationships are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “waste management,” “toxic gases,” “awareness programme” and “implementation,” so the reader can identify the subject and intended solutions. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “do not recycle their waste” and “lack of awareness.” Frequent word-choice, collocation and spelling problems sometimes make meaning difficult to follow, as in “enrichment in industries sector” and “burn of fuel in huge amount.” Some expressions also do not convey the intended meaning precisely: industrial emissions are presented as a reason people do not recycle. Build a more accurate set of phrases for recycling behaviour and public policy, and check spelling and natural word combinations before using less familiar vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There are attempts to form complex sentences, for example with “which” clauses and “by” phrases, but the range is limited and these structures are often faulty. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur throughout: “the main reason is that lack of awareness,” “each individual get busy,” and “this obstacle will solve by encourages the people” all require substantial grammatical changes. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and full stops and several run-on constructions. These errors can make the reader work to understand relationships between ideas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and passive forms, checking that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
