Student answer (Band 5.0)
Citizens and visitors of many countries, do not have the habits of recycling their rubbish in their daily lives. I stronglly believe that this trend can have dangerous and negative impacts on them. But ther are a lot of ways to change it.
There are several reasons, but in my opinion this is one of the biggest cause of the pollution. Because, if people do not recycle their rubbish as much as they could it can have drawbacks and negative effects on both environment and economy. For instance the air of the cities they leave in will be polluted and may affects their health. In addition, their roads will be affected, or the prices of almost all the products such as food, and drinks will increase dramatically owing to the fact that they did not recycle the ending products. As a result, this may be disadvantageous for the companies, so they will have to put more money in the raw materials, moreover for people who will not benefits of sales.
This topic have a lot of methods to be reduced, and numerous simple and easy actions can change this trend. Firstly, companies should do more advertisings on the TVs, the Internet, or in social medias since nowadays everyone use technology, both of teenagers and adults are addicted to their phone, in addition a major part of people watchs TVs. Thereafter, the gouvernment can add affiches in the roads and for example offer them prices for doing that, because all individuals will be able to see it. For this reasons citiznes will be more hyped to recycle their rubbish.
In conclusion, it is often argued that some people may find it rediculous or useless to recycle their rubbish in their daily lives. But I think that it will protects our health in the future, and that ther are differents way to change it and solve this issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you suggest that poor recycling contributes to pollution and describe advertising and government incentives as possible solutions. Your position—that the problem can be changed—is apparent, and the examples of television, social media and road posters make the proposed actions relevant. However, the reasons people fail to recycle are not clearly explained; the first body paragraph mainly describes consequences, such as polluted air and higher prices. Some claims, including the effect on product prices and companies, are also difficult to follow or support. Develop specific causes, such as limited access to recycling facilities or lack of awareness, and explain how each proposed measure would address them. This would make the response more fully developed and consistently focused on both parts of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the discussion and solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “In addition” and “In conclusion” help signal stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from pollution to roads, prices, companies and sales without showing how these points connect. Some linking phrases are also used mechanically or inaccurately, including “Thereafter” and “For this reasons.” The conclusion repeats the general position but does not bring together the main cause and solutions. Organise each paragraph around one central point, use clear references between sentences, and choose linking expressions that accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “recycle,” “pollution,” “raw materials” and “advertisings,” and you attempt to express consequences and solutions. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make parts less clear. Examples include “stronglly,” “gouvernment,” “affiches,” “hyped” and “rediculous”; phrases such as “ending products” and “do more advertisings” are also unnatural in this context. Repetition of “rubbish,” “change” and “people” limits precision. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases, such as “household waste,” “recycling facilities” and “public-awareness campaigns,” and check spelling and whether nouns and verbs combine naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and causal structures such as “if people do not recycle…” and “since nowadays everyone use technology.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “this topic have,” “everyone use,” “people who will not benefits,” and “it will protects”; these show problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms. There are also issues with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “one of the biggest cause” and the fragment beginning “Because, if people…”. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, and use full stops rather than joining several loosely connected claims in one sentence.
