Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both parts of the question: lack of time and limited environmental awareness are offered as reasons, while fines, prizes, posters and separate bins are suggested as solutions. These points are relevant, but they are only minimally explained. For instance, the example about people working late is difficult to follow, and “many people save time that working” does not clearly support the point about recycling. The solutions are listed without explaining how they would change behaviour or giving a developed example. The response also does not meet the required minimum length, which limits the opportunity to explain and support your ideas. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, a paragraph about reasons, a paragraph about solutions and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “firstly,” “secondly,” “furthermore” and “in conclusion” helps identify the intended sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion of late work, arriving home tired and household responsibilities is difficult to connect, and the sentence beginning “For example” is left incomplete. Some linking phrases are used mechanically or inaccurately, while full stops interrupt ideas (“After reach at home. they feel tired.”). Use complete sentences, group related points together, and make each paragraph follow a clear sequence from claim to explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary includes relevant topic words such as “pollution,” “environment,” “recycle,” “rubbish” and “dustbins,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and frequent word-choice, spelling and collocation problems sometimes make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “numerou Nations,” “sat rapper,” “bring many poster” and “use to proper way.” Some expressions appear to be attempts at more formal language, such as “Commencing with the reasons,” but they are not used naturally. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing causes and policy, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer clear, accurate wording over formal-sounding expressions you are unsure how to use.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to use simple statements and some longer structures, including “After reach at home” and “when people thake own responsibility,” but control is very limited. Errors in verb forms, sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation occur frequently and can distort meaning. For example, “This eassy will be discuss” has an incorrect verb form, while “many people do late night job” lacks accurate sentence structure and article use. Several fragments, including “After reach at home,” are not complete sentences, and the final clause beginning “when” is not properly connected to a main clause. Practise building accurate subject–verb sentences first, then combine them with conjunctions such as “because” and “so that.”
