IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in three different countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The bar graph compare the weekday for learners in three different nations.

Overall, UK students spend their most time in sleeping whereas in Japanese students spend most time on study as compare to other nations.

To begin with the sector of studying students of UK are spending 8 hours of their daily time on studying. For Germany students they spend 9 hours from their typical weekday which is one hour extra than students of UK. However, Japanese students spends most of their time in studying which is 13 hours. As Japanese students spends only 4 hours on relaxing themselves and in UK and Germany students spend 7 hours of their time for relaxation.

Moreover, in terms of sleeping more than 8 hours are spent by United Kingdom students whereas in Germany students spends average 8 hours on their sleep. On the other hand in Japan students only use 7 hours for sleeping.
