The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in three different countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The bar chart compares the typical weekday for students in three particular countries based on sleeping, studying, and relaxing.

Overall, Japan accounted for the highest figures of time in studying, while the UK accounted for the highest figure of time in sleeping. Furthermore, Germany and UK recorded the same amount of time in relaxing, whereas Japan had the lowest time in relaxing.

Looking at the UK and Japan typical weekday, Japan recorded the highest number of hours in studying, representing 13 hours, while the UK recorded the highest number of hours in sleeping, at 8.5 hours. By contrast, Japan experienced the lowest number of hours in relaxing, standing at 4 hours, whereas the UK experienced the lowest number of hours in relaxing, at 7 hours.
