Student answer (Band 5.0)
This Bar char give us significant insight on three vary important aspect of student life on weekday .There are comparison shown from three different developed countries like UK Japan and Germany. Graph shows us the in UK the students prefer to sleep more rather than utilize the weekend for Entertainment or relaxation or to study more and cover the what they just left while in regular classes .
while in Japan students study more and prepare more themselves and work had and try to best use of the weekday . Red bar clearly show the difference but it does not mean they compromise the sleep , they had it as it almost for 7 hours the cut off their relaxation time and use it for study where as in Students also focus of study and sleeping , the red bar show the study hours which are higher than UK and blue shows their sleeping hours which are significant although more than Japan and relaxation time is equal to UK . So we concluded that in Germany Student try keep balance between the sleeping , relaxation and study and while in UK its almost similar to Germany but in Japan the result are quite different student prefer to spent more time on weekday on study with balance sleeping hours and less time given for relaxation that is why we see so much development in Japan and life seem quite busy and fast .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to provide a clear overview or effectively highlight the main features. The description of the data is often inaccurate or confusing, such as the claim that relaxation time is equal between Germany and the UK, which is not supported by the visual data. Furthermore, the response includes subjective commentary and speculation about why Japan is 'developed' and 'busy,' which is irrelevant to a Task 1 report. To improve, focus on objective reporting of the figures (e.g., comparing the highest and lowest values) rather than interpreting the reasons behind the data.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. It is written as a single, dense paragraph, which makes it difficult to follow. There is a lack of logical progression between ideas, and the use of cohesive devices is mechanical and often misused (e.g., 'while in Japan,' 'So we concluded that'). Referencing is also unclear, as the text frequently refers to 'red bars' and 'blue bars' without clearly defining what these represent in the context of the graph. Paragraphing is essential for organizing information into logical sections, such as an introduction, an overview, and specific comparisons.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'vary important aspect' instead of 'very important aspects' and 'work had' instead of 'work hard.' The phrasing is often awkward, which hinders the clarity of the report. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise terminology related to data description, such as 'proportion,' 'allocate,' 'significant difference,' and 'comparative analysis,' while ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'This Bar char give us'), missing articles (e.g., 'in UK'), and incorrect sentence structure. The use of punctuation is also problematic, with spaces placed before periods and commas. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often poorly constructed and contain errors that distract the reader. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and verb endings would significantly improve the quality of your writing.
