Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response effectively covers all requirements of the task. You have identified the main features of the bar chart and provided relevant comparisons between the three countries. The overview is clear and highlights the most significant trends, such as the high study time in Japan and the higher sleep duration in the UK. Data is accurately selected and used to support the descriptions throughout the report. To reach a higher band, ensure that all data points are perfectly accurate; for instance, you mentioned Germany records the highest sleep at 8 hours, but the chart indicates the UK is higher at 8.5 hours. Careful proofreading of data against the visual aid is essential.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The response is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. You have used paragraphing effectively to separate the introduction, overview, and body paragraphs. Cohesive devices such as 'Overall', 'Looking first at', 'In term of', and 'By contrast' are used to guide the reader through the information. While the flow is generally smooth, some transitions could be more sophisticated. For example, 'in term of' should be 'in terms of'. Overall, the structure is coherent, and the information is presented in a logical sequence that makes the report easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey information with precision. Phrases like 'allocate their weekday time' and 'substantially higher' are used appropriately. However, there are a few minor errors, such as 'rime' instead of 'time' and 'far the most of time' which is grammatically awkward. To improve, focus on more natural collocations and avoid minor spelling slips. The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but incorporating a few more precise academic terms would elevate the lexical quality of the response.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There is good control over basic grammar, and the meaning is always clear. However, there are some recurring errors, such as 'in term of' (should be 'in terms of'), 'time spend' (should be 'time spent'), and 'students of the other countries' (should be 'students in the other countries'). While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Increasing the variety of complex structures and ensuring subject-verb agreement will help improve your score in this criterion.
