IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in three different countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in UK, Japan and Germany.

The blue coloured bar chart shows the sleeping time of the students in the above mentioned countries in weekday.

The red coloured bar chart shows the studying time of the students in the above mentioned countries in weekday.

The green coloured bar chart shows the relaxing time of the students in the above mentioned countries in weekday.

UK students took more time for sleeping while Japan and Germany students took more time to studying. In all three countries the students took less time for relaxing.

Overall, Japan students took 13 hours to study it's the highest when comparing to other two countries. UK students took 8.5 hours to sleep it's the highest when comparing to other two countries. UK and Germany students took equal time (7 hours) to relax.

In conclusion, Japan students are utilize their time more effectively than others.
