The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in three different countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The bar chart illustrates the comparison of time allocation by students in tree countries ( UK, Japan and Germany) for sleeping, studying and relaxing in a typical weekday.

Overall, least time is spend on relaxing in all countries whereas, notable more time is spend for studying in Japan. The time spend for sleeping fluctuates little in all three countries.

In the UK students spend 8.5 hours sleeping followed by 8 hours for studying and 7 hours for relaxing. In Japan most of time is spend on studying that accopunts for 13 hours, while 7 hours are used for sleeping. Student in Japan relax only for 4 hours in a typical weekday. Likewise, students in Germany spend 9 hours of the day in studying follwed by sleeping ( 8 hours) and relaxing( 7 hours).

The chart shows students in Japan spend significantly more time in studying and spare little time to relax.
