IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The bar chart shows the typical weekday for students in three different countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The graph illustrates difference between normal week day of three countries,UK ,Japan and Germany.It has three main parameters, sleeping, studying and relaxing.

The graph shows , that students in UK and Germany have quite balanced day routine , while students in japan spend most of their time in studying around 13 hours a day .it is more than half the time of a day.Students in UK and Germany study 8 and 9 hours a day respectively.

Graph also shows , similarity between UK and Germany,s student's relaxing time which us 7 hours , on other hand students in japan have relaxing time of 4 hours much less than that of Germany and UK.

At the end , Students in Japan spends most of their time in their studies and least in relaxing while sleeping for 7 hours.

On the other hand students in UK qnd Germany have a balanced life style .
