Typical weekday for students in three different countries

Student answer (Band 6.0)

As a student from countries which are considered highly progressive when it comes to economic growth, it is observed that students from United Kingdom, Japan and Germany mostly spend their time during weekdays primarily through studying, sleeping, and relaxing. However, it can be notably varrying in which areas of these activities do the students spend more time, depending on the educational needs institutions may require.

First, it is shown in the graph that student population in the United Kingdom treats time allocation to sleeping, studying and relaxing without much gap. In the United Kingdom, students spend 8.5 hours in sleeping, 8 hours in studying and 7 hours in relaxing. This only proves that as much as studying is important for their educational attainment, sleep appears more valuable to them, where relaxing might just mean the same. This is understandable if students in the United Kingdom were taught to value their health due to the fact that rest is a priority by getting enough time to sleep. Relaxing can also contribute to reset their nervous system, freshen up their social battery, store more energy even just by sitting alone. This gives them enough backbone to spend eight hours for studying as they are well-rested within their mind and body.

Meanwhile, Japan is known as one of the busiest countries in the world because of their hustle culture. It is a widely spread information in the internet that people in this country are taught that working and studying is their top priority, leaving lesser time to focus on other aspects of life that should also matter. This is extraneously seen through this graph which shows that students in Japan spends thirteen hours on studying. How they spend significantly lesser time on other aspects of normal individuals is shown by alotting only seven hours for sleep and extremely fewer time for relaxing.

Lastly, students in Germany also knows how to balance time spent on studying alongside other aspects of life such as; sleeping and relaxing. Seen in the graph is how German students spends nine hours for studying, only an hour difference compared to the results from the United Kingdom. German students values sleep and relaxation just as much as as they give importance to their studies.

In conclusion, it is proven that students around the globe are strictly focused on achieving their academic goals. These goals could be stemming from the difference of abilities they wanted to hone or master which can greatly affect their future career and status in life. Asian countries are popular for the hardworking qualities of its people, however, it leaves the fact that, aside from the journery of reaching their dreams to become succesful in the future, students should not foresaken their need to rest and take their time to relax or enjoy life too. Both studying and living everyday can be rigorous and insurmountably stressful, I believe that a successful life is the one where a person does not have to sacrifice their own health, it is composed of a daily living wherein all aspects of life; just as basic as sleeping and relaxing are given time equally.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

Mayroon ding mga pagkakamali sa pang-ukol at kayarian sa loob ng masalimuot na mga parirala, gaya ng "different of abilities they wanted to hone" at "the fact that, aside from the journery... students should not foresaken".
