Student answer (Band 5.0)
From the given summury of the three different features like sleeping, studying and relaxing with the three different countries like UK, Japan and Germany very nicely. we can see there is in U.K people are sleeping relavently more than other countries. japan is best in studying whreas in Germany people are avarege in all three things, looks they are very manging their time in all these three categaries very well. German people spend more time in the studying and normal time in the sleep hence they have much time for relaxing too so it looks balanced and managed very well.
In Japan, people spend more time in the studying and less time in the relaxing activities that is good for carrier actually, but not good for mental health.also they are taking less sleeps than others countries peoples,
In U.K studing time is comparetively lower than others, but thet have balanced time management between sleeping and relaxing thus they more aware towards the mental helth and physical health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main broad contrasts: Japan has the most study time and the least relaxation, while the UK has relatively high sleeping time and lower study time. These points are relevant to the chart. However, the response only partially reports the data and does not give any figures, so comparisons such as “more than other countries” remain imprecise. The claim that Germany spends “more time” studying is inaccurate: Germany records 9 hours, compared with 13 in Japan, although it is more than the UK’s 8. The comments about career and mental health are not shown by the chart and take space from describing its information. A clearer overview and accurate numerical comparisons would make the report more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: the opening discusses the countries generally, followed by separate comments on Japan and the UK. This gives the reader a basic route through the response. However, the overall progression is not clear because the first paragraph combines an attempted overview, several comparisons and personal interpretations in one long sequence. Connections such as “hence” and “thus” do not always express a clear relationship, and the repeated references to time management and health make the response feel repetitive. Germany is discussed mainly in the opening rather than in a balanced comparison across the report. Use a distinct overview, then group the details by country or activity, with clear links between comparisons.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some relevant vocabulary, including “studying,” “relaxing,” “balanced” and “comparatively,” and the main topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to read, such as “summury,” “relavently,” “avarege,” “manging” and “categaries.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “best in studying” and “taking less sleeps” do not describe the chart in suitable academic language. Aim for accurate terms such as “spent the most time studying” and “slept for fewer hours,” and use neutral reporting vocabulary rather than unsupported evaluations like “good for carrier.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use linking clauses, for example, “German people spend more time in the studying and normal time in the sleep hence they have much time for relaxing too.” However, these complex attempts are often faulty, and sentence boundaries and punctuation are inconsistent. The opening fragment, “From the given summury … very nicely,” does not form a complete sentence, while “we can see there is in U.K people are sleeping” has an unclear structure. Articles and plural forms are also frequently inaccurate, as in “the sleep” and “others countries peoples.” These errors sometimes make the intended comparison hard to follow. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate clauses and punctuation.
