On the one side, When a child grows in such a young age and he does not find something according to his needs then he chose a way of escapism in the form of smoking. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that smoking should be illegal. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention health risks and psychological factors, the arguments are often under-developed or rely on generalizations, such as the claim that 'elite class people make it a trend'. The explanation regarding why smoking should be illegal is somewhat repetitive, and the mention of 'heroine' (heroin) shifts the focus away from the specific topic of smoking tobacco. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported argument that directly relates to the prompt's core question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression between sentences is often weak. Transitions like 'On the one side' and 'On the other hand' are used, but they do not always accurately reflect the relationship between the ideas presented. For example, the transition to the second paragraph does not effectively contrast with the first. Additionally, some sentences are fragmented or lack clear connections to the previous thought, making the flow feel disjointed. Using a wider range of cohesive devices and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the last would significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and contains several inaccuracies. Words like 'gangeria' (likely referring to gangrene or cancer) and 'tambaco' (tobacco) are misspelled or misused, which hinders the reader's understanding. You rely on basic vocabulary such as 'dangerous', 'harmful', and 'bad', which limits your ability to express complex ideas precisely. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling and collocations. For instance, instead of 'take it in huge quantity', use 'consume large amounts'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('Some people says'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at complex structures often result in errors, such as 'In this race, they go so far that they started having cigarettes...'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of commas and periods. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense consistency and pluralization.
