i strongly agree with this statement that smoking is cause of different illnesses and should be made illegal because we can see our youth most of youth is addidected of smoking when youth is addicted in smoking they is nothing in life because smoking is vert harmful for our health he destroud our immuune system and also affect our brain when we addicted in smoking there is very low chances for move on on this ilnesses now days dissease is vey commen in people for example cancer of mouth and lung etc when we face dissease like cancer tv so how youth can servive in there life because now days competition is high so youth is strongly prepered smoking is very dangerous for youth or every person so i think goverenment should try different method for example make a video which show the side effect of smoking and alson take a action for those who sell it illegal and give him hard punchment when youth addicted for smoking they cannot servive in this generation beacause the competition is high and smoking destroud our brain immune system i strongly with this statement that smoking is vry harmfull for youth or every person of different age so it sshould be banned in our country when who try to sell in illegal so government take a action for him and give him hard punchment when government try to save our youth so it take different action like made a video which show a deffect of smoking

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that smoking should be illegal. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The arguments regarding health risks (cancer, immune system) are mentioned but not expanded upon with sufficient depth or logical progression. The essay relies on circular reasoning, repeating the same points about youth, competition, and health multiple times rather than exploring the broader societal or economic implications of a total ban. The response lacks a formal structure, such as a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which hinders the overall task response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks logical paragraphing, appearing as a series of loosely connected sentences. There is a significant lack of cohesive devices; the text relies on simple, repetitive sentence structures without transition words or logical connectors (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'however'). The progression of ideas is difficult to follow because the same points are restated throughout the text without a clear sequence. Referencing is often unclear, and the lack of paragraph breaks makes the text feel disjointed and difficult to navigate for the reader.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'very', 'bad', and 'illnesses'. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'addidected', 'destroud', 'dissease', 'commen', 'servive', and 'punchment', which occasionally impede readability. The student struggles to use precise terminology related to the topic, such as 'public health', 'legislation', or 'addiction'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, and the persistent spelling mistakes indicate a need for significant improvement in basic lexical accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, tense, and word order (e.g., 'most of youth is addidected', 'they is nothing', 'when we addicted'). Punctuation is almost entirely absent, making it difficult to identify sentence boundaries. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the errors are pervasive enough to cause difficulty for the reader. The frequent misuse of basic grammar patterns prevents the communication of more sophisticated arguments.
