Student answer (Band 6.0)
One of the most widely debated issues today is over smoking. This harmful habit can led to several deseases. Opinions are sharply divided on wether smoking should be perhibted or not. From my perspective I firmly beleive that this concept has to by applied due to numerous reasons.
One compelling argument in favor of this view is motivating individuals who suffer from this habit to commence taking serious measures in order to adress this issue. To illustrate this, alot of citizens nowadays are smoking like trucks and they are in need for any assistant. When these people are going to recognize that smoking is not a personal problem anymore additionaly they might have to pay taxes or evey go to prision due to their action. In this situation smockers will think twice before taking of a cegaritte. Another justification lies in the fact that smocking is a mute killer that might lead to death or to a dangerouse kind of illnesses such as lung cancer. By abolshing smoking individuals can have a better health which may effect the socitey as whole.
Opponents of this view argue that people have to have freedom without any obligation or forcing. This viewpoint fails to consider implications of the fundemental clue that The personal freedom ends when others' people freedom starts. Somckers by somcking are not effecting only themselves. Yet, they are cynically effecting the atmosphere that they are surrounded with. Hence, these citizens are harming numerous indivaduals just because their disaers.
Taking everything into account, This concept has no right percpective nor wrong one. I agree that all unhealthy habits including smoking should be abolished due to many reasons. This concept can promot sustainable development and benefit the society as whole.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of making smoking illegal. The ideas are relevant, such as the health benefits and the impact on others' rights. However, the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument about 'taxes' and 'prison' is a bit underdeveloped and lacks a logical explanation of how such extreme measures would realistically function. While the position is consistent, the supporting arguments could be more nuanced to reach a higher band. The conclusion is slightly contradictory, as it states the concept has 'no right perspective nor wrong one' after having argued strongly for a specific side throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One compelling argument', 'Another justification', and 'Taking everything into account'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition 'In this situation smockers will think twice'. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing and flow, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between smoking and the need for 'assistant' (assistance) is unclear. Paragraphing is present, but the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is adequate for the task but shows significant limitations. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'deseases', 'perhibted', 'smockers', 'cegaritte', 'abolshing', and 'disaers'. Some word choices are also inaccurate or informal, such as 'smoking like trucks' and 'mute killer' (likely meaning 'silent killer'). While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'sustainable development' and 'implications', the high frequency of spelling mistakes and imprecise collocations hinders the overall clarity and sophistication of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include 'can led to' (should be 'can lead to'), 'has to by applied' (should be 'has to be applied'), and 'they are in need for any assistant' (should be 'they are in need of assistance'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and incorrect capitalization. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the high density of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
