Smoking can cause serious illnesses and should bbe made illegal .we saw the all prespective and give reason for own knowledge or experinence. lets discuss the all the terms and see the cause of smoking.

Very fisrt i totally agree with the statment this is the harmest thung of our society because its not only harmful for the relevent person but also whole the society because the smoke will effect all one. in pakistan approximately 160,000 people died from the smoking or the other disease that cause of this. its not the simple things its cause the danger for our childern and also the enviornment of society. the hospital of pakistans is full the patient that suffer with these problems like lungs cancer, mouth cancer and also the kidney faliure these all are very serious issues create by smoking. many of people lost their lives for the smoking.

However on the otherhand it should be illegal its very serious issue govt importently look after this problem and should be banned the all the staff like that. for example the Australia increase the prices of the cigeretes most of the dont reach for take it. every countries make the law like that they set the tight restriction that everybody should be follow because these things is not justify from all the prespective.the very first thing should be total blackout of this and set the rule and strict punishmennt and introduced the fine that peole they do smoking specially on public place its full of various kind of people. its really important issue of our society that should be solve.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The candidate addresses the prompt directly by taking a clear position in favour of making smoking illegal. Relevant ideas and examples are provided, such as the statistic regarding deaths in Pakistan and the example of Australia increasing cigarette prices to deter buyers. However, some ideas lack full extension and suffer from repetition. For instance, the discussion on public health impacts touches on lung cancer and kidney failure, but the reasoning remains somewhat underdeveloped. The introduction is also overly colloquial and fails to properly outline the essay's direction. Despite these shortcomings, the prompt is adequately addressed throughout, leading to a Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into three paragraphs, though the introduction is little more than a fragmented preamble. There is a general logical progression from introducing the stance to supporting it with public health data, and finally discussing government interventions like bans and price hikes. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. Sentences are often run-on or comma-spliced, such as in 'this is the harmest thung of our society because its not only harmful for the relevent person but also whole the society'. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the main body lumped into two massive, block-like paragraphs without clear internal signposting, resulting in a Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and frequently inaccurate, reflecting a limited and minimally adequate range. There are numerous spelling errors ('bbe', 'prespective', 'experinence', 'fisrt', 'harmest', 'thung', 'relevent', 'childern', 'enviornment', 'pakistans', 'faliure', 'importently', 'cigeretes', 'coperation'), as well as word-choice and collocation errors ('most of the dont reach for take it', 'total blackout of this'). While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'punishmennt' and 'restriction', the high frequency of errors causes strain and occasional difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are almost invariably faulty, featuring severe punctuation and syntax errors, such as missing capitalisation, omitted articles, and severe run-on clauses (e.g., 'every countries make the law like that they set the tight restriction that everybody should be follow because these things is not justify from all the prespective'). Grammatical errors are extremely frequent throughout the text, impeding communication in places and clearly aligning with the Band 4.0 descriptor level, where errors dominate and structures remain very restricted.
