In 1966 at Cope Town South Africa, Sir France kindly spoke that the basic needs of all human beings are not food, shelter, and clothing. but needs of all human beings are freedom, education, and health. The world improves the same arguments would be believed. But when touching the issue of health, it blows up a heated counter arial opinion among the people. a bunch argue that smoking can be the major source of various deadly diseases and should be banned, while others refuse it. However, scientific research has shown that smoking can cause many life-threatening diseases and in addition it can effect mental health. This essay will analyze these aspects before any conclusion could be drawn.
The most fundamental justification is that smoking is the considerable fount of various noxious sicknesses which can cause deadly disease such as lung cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD). as a result, close to 90% of all lung cancer cases are recorded from smoking.
The second considerable aspect is that smoking can cause many psychological disorders, such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and psychosis. The chemical properties of tobacco create a ''vicious cycle'' where nicotine alters brain chemistry, increasing vulnerability to the above mental health issues.
On another vein, some individuals claim that smoking should be allowed everywhere and should not be banned, as it is the right of freedom of everyone to do what they want to. And no one have right to snatch others right of freedom. As it leads to allow everyone to be treated equally by personal rights.
Following the above analyzation it is crystal clear that smoking can cause many deadly diseases and also can effect the mental health of an individual as well as it can cause many social problems in society such as smoking in public places. So it should be consider illegal.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the health impacts of smoking and the counter-argument regarding personal freedom, eventually taking a clear position that smoking should be considered illegal. The introduction attempts a broad philosophical opening, though it feels somewhat disconnected and contains historical inaccuracies regarding the quote. The body paragraphs present relevant points regarding physical diseases (such as lung cancer and COPD) and psychological disorders. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed or briefly stated without sufficient elaboration. For instance, the paragraph addressing the opposing view about freedom is somewhat simplistic and lacks robust counter-argumentation. Overall, all parts of the task are addressed, and a clear position is maintained throughout, fitting the Band 6.0 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a discernible progression of ideas. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct points, such as physical health impacts, mental health impacts, and the counter-argument regarding freedom. However, cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or awkwardly deployed, as seen in transitions like "On another vein" and "Following the above analyzation". Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical connections between sentences could be smoother. While paragraphing is present, the logical flow between paragraphs occasionally stumbles due to abrupt phrasing. This aligns well with the characteristics of Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student attempts a range of vocabulary appropriate for an academic discussion, incorporating terms like "fundamental justification," "psychological disorders," and "vicious cycle." However, there are notable inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and spelling throughout the text. Examples include "Cope Town" instead of Cape Town, "counter arial opinion," "effect" instead of "affect" (used multiple times), and "fount" used rather awkwardly. While these lexical errors are noticeable and detract from precision, the vocabulary remains adequate to convey the central message without severely impeding communication, which is characteristic of a Band 6.0 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are several noticeable errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ("And no one have right"), incorrect prepositions or articles ("at Cope Town South Africa"), and punctuation slips. Furthermore, sentence structures occasionally become overly convoluted or fragmented, as observed in the lengthy and confused opening sentences. Despite these recurring errors in grammar and punctuation, they rarely impede overall communication, placing the response solidly at Band 6.0.
