In recent years, an increasing number of individuals health are effectd due to smoking. Therefore smoking can account serious sickness as well as it should me made illegal. I strongly agree with this point of view because smoking create health related problems, higher healthcare cost, and it should be consider illegitimate because of health risk, and the creation of stress.
One the one hand, in today's modern cultures smoking is consider a normal activity as many people smoke on public places, like public streets, hotels, and shops. As a result, most of our younger individuals get affect via those people who do not care about where to smoke and how to smoke, due to this issue younger also involve in this bad activity without any awareness. Furthermore, smoker are very affected as their physical and mental health get destrub due to extensive amount of smoking. For instance, Most of smoker have lung cancer, bacause they smoke in a vast amount. Secondly, due to higher figure of smoking they have also very stress and despression.
On the other hand, governments required to completely banned smoking on public places or to make it illegal without any other words. People who smoke are often do not know their family and their relationship with other people and they only want to smoke more to fulfil their wish of smoking. Resultantly, younger individuals are involve in this bad action from the previous two to three decades which is an alarming for the upcoming generation. Hence, authorities need to pass such kind of policies to consider smoking illegal in every place in their country.
In conclusion, smoking in a vast amount can cause serious issue related to smokers health, increasing of stress and anxiety, and bad effect on younger, Consequently, governments have to banned public smoking to protect new generation and to avoid healthcare challenges. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The student addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position agreeing that smoking should be made illegal due to health risks and societal impacts. The main ideas, such as health-related problems, higher healthcare costs, and the negative influence on younger generations, are introduced and supported with some explanation. However, the development remains somewhat limited and repetitive across the body paragraphs, lacking deep elaboration or concrete real-world statistical evidence. Phrases like 'smoking create health related problems' show a relevant approach to the prompt, but the overall depth aligns best with Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall logical arrangement. Paragraphing is attempted appropriately with distinct introduction and conclusion sections, and transitional phrases such as 'One the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' are employed to guide the reader. Nevertheless, cohesion is often mechanical and faulty. For example, 'Resultantly, younger individuals are involve in this bad action from the previous two to three decades' demonstrates awkward referencing and logical links. Progression is occasionally hindered by abrupt shifts and repetitive phrasing, placing this performance at Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student attempts a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including terms such as 'healthcare cost', 'lung cancer', 'stress and depression', and 'upcoming generation'. However, there are frequent word-choice and word-formation errors throughout the response, such as 'effectd' instead of affected, 'account serious sickness' instead of cause serious illnesses, 'consider illegitimate' instead of considered illegal, and 'destrub' instead of disturbed. These errors occasionally cause strain for the reader, although communication remains generally clear, fitting the Band 5.0 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'I strongly agree with this point of view because smoking create health related problems...' However, the text contains a high frequency of basic grammatical and punctuation errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('governments required to completely banned', 'smoker are very affected'), incorrect tense or voice ('are involve', 'should me made illegal'), and preposition errors. These persistent errors often impede accuracy, though some complex clauses are successfully attempted, justifying a Band 5.0 score.
