In this modern era, due to increasing trend of smoking many individuals are facing many diseaese that are injurious to their health. Some people believe that it should be made illegal to avoid from serious problems. I totally agree that it should be banned on the production of cigarretts.

On one hand, Firstly, smoking cause serious health problems. For instance, it causes failure of lungs due to excessive take of cigarrate so in this way blood become thick and it leads to severe chances of heart attack. Secondly, it causes disruption of mental work. For example, when smokers individuals have to do work they cant perform their work appropriately because ingredients in smoke can destroy their working ability.

On the other hand, smoking should be made illegal, because it spoils the character of overall society furthurmore smokers cannot alive without taking any such type of smoking. Let us take an example of increasing crimes in society like, individuals who cannot afford to purchase smoking products can easily stepped into robbery cases to fulfill their need.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that smoking should be prohibited, and you give relevant reasons involving health, work performance, and social consequences. The examples of lung and heart problems and of theft to obtain smoking products show an effort to support your claims. However, the response addresses the proposal to make smoking illegal only partly: it shifts to banning the production of cigarettes, without explaining whether possession, sale, or smoking itself should also be illegal. Some claims, particularly that smoking disrupts mental work and leads to crime, are asserted rather than explained or supported. Clarify the scope of the ban and develop fewer reasons with more precise explanation and evidence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, a proposed government action, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression is sometimes mechanical: “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “On the other hand,” and “For this purpose” are used as signposts without always showing a clear relationship between ideas. “On the other hand” is especially confusing because the paragraph continues to support your position rather than presenting an opposing view. Some links between claims are also unclear, such as the move from smoking to crime. Use fewer, more accurate transitions and make each paragraph develop one connected point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “serious health problems,” “heart attack,” “production,” and “rules and regulations,” so the main subject is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning awkward, as in “failure of lungs,” “disruption of mental work,” and “cannot alive without taking” smoking. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “diseaese,” “cigarretts,” “furthurmore,” and “personaility.” These issues sometimes make the reader work to interpret your meaning. Build a more accurate set of phrases for health effects, dependence, and legal measures, and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “because ingredients in smoke can destroy their working ability.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction recur. Examples include “smoking cause,” “blood become thick,” “smokers cannot alive,” and “should made strict rules.” Some sentences also combine clauses awkwardly, particularly the sentence beginning “For this purpose government should take an initiative.” These patterns can make parts of the argument difficult to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete verb forms, then build longer sentences from correctly formed clauses.
