Smoking is equal to inhaling the toxic chemical in your lungs, damage air sacs of lungs that can cause the serious illness and death of many people due to lungs failure.

Some people smoking due to addiction and some others smoke because it look cool when smoke come out from your mouth and nose but it look cheap in other perspective because you harm your body just to gain the attentesion of people even many of then look at you or notice wjhat you are doing.

It should be illegal to smoke and also to keep in markets it also mentioned on packageing it harm your health but peopke do not understand the concept or they ignore the message of peckageing carelessly.

The concept of coolness arise from upper class people when they plan something illegal or after doing illegal or they relax themselves by smoking. from this every class of people start smoking which is very bad thing for health.

There should be the take strict action againt the smokers like in one country there were 1 lac people pool into river because they use drugs and from then to now there is no cause of drugs user. One action make big change in country every one know that if they not follow the rules they will pay prices of that action.

When government will take the action the positive result will show in that country and people remove that habit of smoking permanently from their daily life and get good health

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a clear position in favour of making smoking illegal, and you give relevant reasons, including addiction, harm to health and the influence of social image. The reference to health warnings on packaging also relates to the issue. However, the argument is only partly developed: the claim that smoking should be illegal is not weighed against possible objections, such as personal freedom or the effectiveness of regulation. The example about people being punished for drug use is difficult to understand and does not clearly show how a similar policy would reduce smoking. Explain your main reasons with specific, credible support and make the connection between each example and your position explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has some organisation: it moves from health effects and reasons people smoke to packaging, social influence and government action. Paragraph breaks also separate several points. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear, and some ideas appear abruptly. For example, the discussion of “upper class people” is not clearly linked to the earlier point about smoking seeming cool, while the river-and-drugs example arrives without enough context. Linking phrases such as “as a result” and “for example” are used inconsistently, and references such as “this” and “that action” can be unclear. Group related points into focused paragraphs and explain how each one supports the central argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “addiction,” “toxic chemical,” “health,” “illegal” and “government,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main position. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “equal to inhaling the toxic chemical” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “gain the attentesion of people” is unclear. Spelling errors such as “peopke,” “peckageing” and “againt” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing health risks, regulation and social influence, and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses with “because” and “when.” This shows an effort to connect reasons and consequences. However, the longer structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles and punctuation sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “some others smoke because it look cool” has an agreement error, while “when smoke come out” lacks a clear grammatical subject and correct verb form. The opening sentence also joins several ideas without clear sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses; check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation during revision.
