In my opinion smoking is not a good habit. If we take it at country or international level people can not take it serious. Now a days smoking is very common in our socities or as well as in our country.

Today many of the youngsters are affected by smoking and many other addiction. The teenagers are mostly fall in prey of smoking.

There are many drawbacks of smoking,For example many of the students are affected by this serious issue. There are many causes of smoking,For example smoking damage our lungs thats why the ratio of lungs patient are incresing day by day.It also affected our respiratory system.

On the hand if we count the drawbacks of smoking these are unlimited.Today every person are affected by smoking. The smoking slows down our breathe thats why smokers feel less stressed.

On the other hand if we say that smoking has benefits so it was totally wrong opinion. If we want to reduce the ratio of smokers we need to coperate with each other. Our friends or our family members whose are inhibited in this bad habbit. It is obligatery for us to give them better idea and stop them from smoking. As a muslim it is our responsibility to avoid them from smoking.

In conclusion if we want to reduces the number of smokers in our society as well as in our country we need to request to our government to take an action on the smokers. And also rises the price of ciggarate. In my opinion smoking is an illegal factor because smoking continuosely damageing our important lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss smoking’s health effects, its prevalence among young people, and ways to reduce smoking, so the response is relevant to the topic. However, the central question is whether smoking should be made illegal, and your position on this is not consistently explained. The conclusion calls smoking “an illegal factor” and asks the government to act and raise cigarette prices, but these points do not clearly establish whether you support a complete ban or other restrictions. Several ideas are also asserted rather than developed: for example, you mention lung damage and respiratory problems without explaining their consequences or giving a specific example. State your position directly and support it with developed reasons, including why prohibition would or would not be effective.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to health effects, proposed action, and a conclusion. Some linking phrases, such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion,” help signal these stages. However, progression within and between paragraphs is often unclear: the discussion shifts from students to lung disease, then to stress, without showing how the points connect. “On the hand” is also an incomplete transition, and “On the other hand” introduces a contrast that is not clearly established. Repeated openings such as “Today” and “For example” make the organisation feel mechanical. Group related points together, use transitions that express the actual relationship between ideas, and make references such as “these” or “them” clearly identify what they refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “teenagers,” “drawbacks,” “respiratory system,” and “government.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “the ratio of lungs patient” is not a natural way to describe increasing illness, while “smoking slows down our breathe” and “smoking is an illegal factor” do not express the intended ideas clearly. Spelling errors such as “socities,” “incresing,” and “ciggarate” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for health effects and policy, and check spelling and collocations. Prefer specific wording, such as “the number of smokers” or “make tobacco sales illegal,” over vague or unnatural expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, using forms such as “because” and “if.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range remains limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making sentences hard to interpret. Examples include “many of the youngsters are affected by smoking and many other addiction,” “The teenagers are mostly fall in prey,” and “every person are affected.” These show problems with plural forms, agreement, and sentence construction. Other examples, such as “if we want to reduces” and “smoking continuosely damageing,” show difficulty controlling verb forms. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, with missing spaces after full stops and commas. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and verb forms.
