In recent years, smoking has cause the biggest impact on serious ilnesses and it should be made illegal because i strongly agree that smoking is injurious to our health and will damaged our mind and body. Many people are dying because of cancer and intaking the ciggarates.Oi slowly impact the body but when it started to show its effect it will be very harmful than anything else.It should be banned because many childrens are becomig addicted to its and it can cause in upcoming generation.

To begin with, People are consuming smoke unknowingly knowing the impact it creates whe it started to cause in our body.Smoking can cause cancers and destroyed our lungs which is very hard to cure and medical it.Many people are dying because of it and people have zero knowledge about and smoke casually.Government and concern authorities should take step on it and start to make it illegal and bannned it from the country to save many people's lifes.Rules and regulations should be made for both consumers and producer because if we cannot control from both sides it can cause moree effect on nations too. Smoking should not be allowed because it is harmful or anything but it destroyed human and upcoming generation.

Moreover, people can conduct some street awareness program about it and spread causes and impact after smoking in human body.Influencers and news channel should focus on showing the impact of its and try to spread some good news for the people and government should be more focused on how to stop this.Considerably, my friends were smokinmg ciggarates and they were forcing me to consume it but i refued to smoke because i have some knowledge about it.Meanwhile, many childrens arte smoking like this because they have no knowledge abt it.So awareness program should be conducted and spread more knowledge about it and government should take stricts actions against it fast as possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that smoking should be illegal, and you give relevant reasons, including serious illness, harm to younger people, and the need for government action. The personal example about refusing cigarettes also supports your view. This addresses the task, but some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, you say smoking affects the “upcoming generation” and that authorities should ban it, but do not explain how a ban would work or address possible counterarguments such as personal choice or enforcement. The awareness-campaign ideas are relevant, though they focus more on prevention than on whether smoking should be illegal. Develop these points with specific explanations and examples to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, a paragraph about health and regulation, and a final paragraph about awareness and personal experience. Connectors such as “To begin with” and “Moreover” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves quickly from illness to public knowledge, government rules, and future generations without showing how each point connects. Several ideas are repeated, especially that smoking is harmful and that awareness is needed. Some linking phrases, including “Meanwhile” and “Considerably,” do not clearly express the relationship between the ideas that follow. Group related points together, use more precise transitions, and make each paragraph develop one main argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “serious illnesses,” “cancer,” “lungs,” “addicted,” and “rules and regulations,” so the reader can follow the main subject. There are also attempts at more formal expressions such as “concerned authorities” and “awareness program.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. For instance, “consuming smoke” and “medical it” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while “impact” is repeated frequently. Spelling errors such as “ciggarates,” “becomig,” and “refued” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of precise health and policy vocabulary, check spelling, and choose natural collocations rather than repeating general words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to combine ideas using clauses, for example, “because I strongly agree” and “because if we cannot control from both sides,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, sentence structures are limited, and attempts at longer sentences often contain several grammatical problems. Examples include “smoking has cause,” “it will damaged,” and “many childrens are becomig addicted,” where verb forms or plural forms are not controlled. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “Smoking can cause cancers and destroyed our lungs.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, with some sentences running together. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking tense, agreement, and punctuation.
