In our modren society there are many detrimental addiction but mainly and harmfull addiction are now normalized in our young youth and local communitie is smoking should smoking can cause serious illneases and it can be illegeal

At my perspective smoking is a most serious and ordinary harmfull addiction in our society and also the most death causing agent .Nowdays in our young genertaion smoking is a cool thing to impress other people nowdays young children at very low age are addicted to smoking .smoking cause serious health issue

For example : cancer , lack of attention to work , and no control to their emotions.

A chain smoker cannot break the chain of daily smoking if he did it can change to a serious negative impact like losing of their mind cannot take a descion at a time .

Also smoker have a bad breath . A smoker can risk his life by doing smoking and also he put his family and friends life in risk beause the harmfull smoke he release by smoking can be inhaled by their family member or friend which can cause serious health issue like cancer or lung breathing issue. Smoking can impact lung very badly which can cause asthma or more breathing problems.

Also smoking can be illegallized to save our young youths and our communities from this harmfull chain and to reduce the death cause by smoking . Government should strickly apply banned of smoking to break the chain of smoking .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the central issue and make your position clear: smoking is harmful and should be prohibited. Relevant reasons include risks to smokers, second-hand smoke affecting family and friends, and the influence of smoking on young people. These points show a response to the question, but some are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that smoking causes “lack of attention to work” or loss of the ability to make decisions needs clearer support and a more direct link to serious illness. The response also gives little consideration to why making smoking illegal might be justified or what such a ban would involve. Develop fewer points with explanation or examples, and state your degree of agreement explicitly in a clear thesis.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is an overall attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces smoking, the middle paragraphs give reasons, and the final paragraph recommends government action. The repeated use of “Also” and the movement from personal health effects to second-hand smoke provide some links between ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear: the opening is difficult to follow, and several points are crowded together in long sentences, particularly the discussion of family members, friends, and health risks. Paragraphing is present but does not always separate distinct arguments. Use a clearer sequence—position, effects on smokers, effects on others, and a concluding recommendation—and use pronouns and linking phrases carefully so each connection is easy to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “chain smoker,” “serious health issue,” “family and friends,” and “breathing problems.” This gives the response a basic range for discussing smoking and its effects. However, vocabulary is often repetitive, especially “harmfull,” “smoking,” and “serious,” and several word choices or forms make meaning less clear, such as “death causing agent,” “young youths,” and “lung breathing issue.” Spelling errors such as “modren,” “illegeal,” and “communitie” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of health and policy terms, and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “second-hand smoke” for smoke inhaled by others and “prohibit smoking” when describing a legal ban.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a clause explaining that smoke inhaled by relatives can cause health problems. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often difficult to control. The opening sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “smoking cause serious health issue” has problems with subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “smoking is a most serious” and the run-on sequence beginning “A smoker can risk his life.” These errors sometimes make the intended relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a correctly formed supporting clause, and check agreement, articles, plurals, and punctuation.
