The line graph shows the number of first time visitors and returning visitors who visited Caryl Island from 2000 to 2008.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph shows the number of first time visitors and returning visitors who visited Caryl Island from 2000 to 2008.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

the line graphs tracks the changes of number of new comers and returning back visitors at Daryl island between 2000 to 2008.

Overall, there was an upward trend, the returning visitors were witnessed increased as compare to new visitors over the period of time.

Moving towards the data, In 2000, the number of initial visitors was approximately 8000, while in year 2002 it had a sharp decline and reached to its half which was 4000 visitors. After 6 years, they increased gradually with the fluctuations in the number of visitors and reached close to 10000 visits which was its highest point in the final year.

Turning towards the visitors who returned, In year 2000, the number was 2000 which rose up significantly to 10000 by 2002. After that it was witnessed durning 2002 to 2006 it rose up unevenly over the time period. Lastly, after reaching to its peak it dropped marginally and came till 13000.
