Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have successfully identified the main trends for both visitor categories. However, the response lacks precision in reporting data. For example, you state 'it decreased with 4000 visitors in 2002 and reached at 4000', which is slightly confusing. Additionally, the overview is a bit repetitive and could be more concise. To improve, ensure you clearly highlight the key differences and the most significant changes over the period. While you cover all parts of the task, the lack of clarity in some data descriptions prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'In detail', 'In case of', 'Then, again'). Some transitions feel forced, and the logical flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the overview and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear focus would improve the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is somewhat limited and occasionally inaccurate. Using 'commuters' to describe tourists is incorrect, as commuters travel for work. Phrases like 'few visitors go back' and 'that were came first time' are unnatural and show a lack of control over word choice and collocation. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise terminology related to data description, such as 'fluctuated', 'peaked', or 'remained stable', and avoid repeating basic verbs like 'visit' or 'reached'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with verb tenses and sentence construction. Examples include 'the maximum number of returning visitors were visit' and 'it was increase in first time visitors'. These errors occasionally make the meaning difficult to follow. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures and struggle with subject-verb agreement and preposition usage. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and proofreading for common errors like unnecessary 'it was' constructions.
