Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 150 words, containing only 109 words, which significantly restricts the breadth of data coverage and development. While the student attempts to report main trends, there are noticeable inaccuracies and misinterpretations of the data. For instance, the text states that returning visitors in 2004 experienced 'more than 15000 visitors return back and that is big rise but there is lowest fall in 2008 with 2000 visitors'. According to the data, returning visitors actually peaked around 15,200 in 2006 and dropped to 13,400 in 2008, while 2000 visitors was the value for first-time visitors in 2002. Furthermore, a clear overall overview is missing, leading to a Band 4 level of task achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text is organized into short paragraphs, but the overall progression of ideas lacks clarity and logical structure. Cohesive devices are used minimally and sometimes awkwardly, as seen in transitions like 'Firstly' followed abruptly by dense data points. Referencing is frequently unclear, particularly with ambiguous pronouns such as 'the other visitors numbers' and 'that is big rise'. Paragraphing is under-utilized, with the body and overview poorly separated. Overall, the organization is basic and mechanical, fitting the Band 5 descriptor.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with noticeable spelling and word choice errors that impede understanding. Examples include 'compariosn', 'apporoximately', and the awkward phrase 'who already visited second time'. The student attempts some less common terms like 'newcomers' and 'returning visitors', but frequent inaccuracies in collocation and word form (such as 'numbers are decrease') restrict the lexical score to a Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying primarily on simple sentences with frequent structural errors. There are numerous tense and agreement errors, such as 'the first time visitors are 8000', 'graph start to increase', and 'first time visitors are increasing with the six years'. Complex structures are attempted but are generally faulty and lack control. Frequent errors in grammar and punctuation cause some difficulty for the reader, aligning with Band 4.
