Student answer (Band 5.0)

During now a days zoo is one of the most visiting place for peoples there are different kind of animals there people have to go there and see those animals . most of the people love to see the animals activities and there living style

now a days there are many safari zoos to visit and watch animals activities too much closely

I am totally disagree to close the zoos

in my opinion the government should have to make safari zoos for public there are many benifits for animals as well as public

such as in a safari zoo the animals are totally moving freely they were not in cage all the animals are relaxed and enjoy there life with there own mind and those people who want to visit the zoo

first they have to parchase the ticket from the counter and then a van with a cage come to pick the peoples .

thish is because of safety purposes because in safari zoo there are many dangerous animals like lion etc they have to harm the peopels

i want to share my own experience during the last vacations i aslo went to the safari zoo and i really enjoy a lot there

there are very kind of animals are moving freely such as lion ,Elephent ,zabra,Tiger and other some small animals are also there

i really enjoy that time i learn a lot about the animals and their livings

i think that zoo is aslo one of the best source of income and it is also very enjoyfull moment for toriest and local peoples

i think that zoos should not be closed till end this is a part of life and learning about the animals livings

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear opinion—“I am totally disagree to close the zoos”—and maintain the view that zoos should remain. The response offers relevant reasons, including public enjoyment, learning about animals, and income from tourism, and your safari-park visit provides a personal example. However, the argument only partly addresses the central claim about whether animals need to be kept in zoos. The suggestion that safari zoos let animals move freely is relevant, but it is not explained in enough detail or clearly distinguished from conventional zoos. Several points, such as zoos being “a part of life,” are asserted rather than supported. Develop two or three reasons with clearer explanations and examples, and address animal welfare more directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a recognisable sequence: you state your position, describe safari zoos, give a personal experience, and conclude that zoos should stay open. This gives the reader a basic sense of direction. However, ideas are presented in one continuous block, without paragraphing to separate the argument, example, and conclusion. Connections between points are often abrupt, and “such as,” “this is because,” and repeated uses of “I think” do not always show the relationship between ideas clearly. Some sentences run together, making it difficult to follow the explanation of how visitors are transported and why this is safe. Use separate paragraphs and clearer linking phrases, and make each paragraph develop one main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate basic ideas, including “safari zoo,” “dangerous animals,” “safety purposes,” “source of income,” and “local people.” The personal example also helps you express your experience. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “animals,” “people,” “enjoy,” and “I think.” There are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “benifits,” “Elephent,” “zabra,” “toriest,” and “living style,” which sometimes make the reader pause. Some expressions are also unnatural, for example “moving freely” and “enjoy their life with their own mind.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for animal welfare, conservation, education, and tourism.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify your main position and personal example. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and longer sentences are often difficult to follow because clauses are joined without clear punctuation. Errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction: “I am totally disagree” and “there are very kind of animals are moving freely” are examples. There are also problems with plural forms and possessives, as in “the peoples” and “there living style.” These patterns sometimes make the meaning unclear. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using conjunctions and full stops; check subject–verb agreement and verb forms when editing.
