Student answer (Band 5.0)
Zoo is one of the entertainment places in the world where many animals are kept in captivate condition and spectators watching animals that confined condition for their recreaation purposes.
Nowadays, various problems like unethical activities are seen in zoo like not proper take care of animals, not proper food given to animals which leads to death to organisms suffer and in some extent most of organism leads in death.
So, i firmly admit that no animals should be kept in in situ condition. Every living organism has right to live their own comfortabley without fear. No one has any any right to snatch of it from them. For example, for recreation purpose we can kept animals in ex situ condition rather than insitu condition. Ex situ condition helps animals to grow freely, breeding and maintains proper biodiversity without hampering ecological balance. Another major advantage of closing zoo is animals can breed and maintains biodiversity and balancing ecological life.
But major drawbacks is, it can stopped of some people financial sources as their earning source for their livelihood and also reduced the recreation site.
If we do maintains our biodiversity it will cause destruction our lives also as well as creats ecological imbalances that eventually destroy our whole ecosystem.
However, drawbacks can be overlooked for the shake of animal lives. They are most innocent creature in the world that also be every right feel safe and lives happily in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a clear position in favour of closing zoos, especially in “I firmly admit” and your conclusion that animal welfare should outweigh the drawbacks. You also mention relevant points: poor care, animals’ right to live safely, and the loss of income or recreation if zoos close. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because several ideas are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that “ex situ condition” allows animals to breed and maintain biodiversity is unclear and does not show how this would work after zoos close. The financial impact is also mentioned but not explored. The response is 10 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your reasons. Add a specific example and explain each main point more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: you introduce the topic, present reasons for closing zoos, acknowledge a drawback, and finish by reaffirming your view. Linking expressions such as “So,” “For example,” and “However” help signal these moves. Nevertheless, the overall progression is not consistently clear, and several ideas repeat or seem to conflict. Biodiversity and ecological balance are mentioned more than once without a clear connection to the argument, while “If we do maintains our biodiversity it will cause destruction our lives” appears to reverse the intended meaning. Paragraphing is also limited, with several distinct points crowded together. Organise the essay into clear paragraphs, each with one central idea, and use linking phrases only where the relationship between ideas is explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt some topic-specific vocabulary, including “biodiversity,” “ecological balance,” “ecosystem,” and “livelihood,” which shows an effort to discuss animal welfare and environmental effects. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “kept in captivate condition,” “not proper take care,” and “snatch of it from them” are not natural English expressions. There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “recreaation,” “comfortabley,” and “creats.” Aim to learn vocabulary in complete phrases, such as “kept in captivity” and “receive adequate care,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise wording would make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “If we do maintains our biodiversity.” However, the range of sentence patterns is limited, and attempts at more complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur frequently: “spectators watching,” “animals can breed and maintains,” and “it can stopped” need different grammatical forms. Articles, plurals, and sentence construction are also inconsistent, as in “Every living organism has right” and “They are most innocent creature.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Proofread each sentence for a clear subject, a correctly formed verb, and agreement.
