zoos should be should be shut down, since people do not have interest in keeping animals in zoos. even though the number of animals kept in zoos have reduced ,it does not guarantee that the zoos should be closed. form my perspective is strongly disagree with the statement because zoos act as a tourist attractions , educatioand and also play as safe place to keep the animals such as elephant and lions to prevent destruction and prevent human being from attacked by the some animals such as lions who can either cause harm to human life or death.
game park play a vital role in tourist sector. Many visitors both local and international, normally visit our states because of our tourist attraction, especially visiting zoos to explore different animals and birds species. Through this the state will generate more revenue and create good picture of the the country. Additionally zoos promote education through educational trips, whereby students form different institutions across all level of education usually visits the zoos form educational purpose. However, when student go to zoos they tend to see all types of birds and animals, which is interest and enhance their knowledge of understanding, regarding the livestock and birds.
zoos play important role in preventing animals from destructing plants, getting lost and causing harm to human being. although some of the animals moves freely many are still kept in one place especially those who can cause serious injuries or even death such as leopard, lions and elephant. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against closing zoos. You provide relevant arguments regarding tourism, education, and animal safety. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument about 'preventing destruction' is mentioned in both the introduction and the third paragraph without significant expansion. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating similar concepts. The position is consistent throughout, but the supporting examples could be more specific to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'form my perspective' (likely meant as 'from my perspective') and 'through this' are used, but transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt. There are also issues with referencing; for instance, the phrase 'the farm or game park' appears suddenly in the third paragraph without prior context. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would help the flow of ideas significantly. Paragraphing is present, but the internal logic within paragraphs needs more careful structuring.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'educatioand' (spelling), 'create good picture of the the country' (awkward phrasing), and 'interest' used instead of 'interesting'. You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is a lack of less common lexical items or collocations. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form. The repetition of words like 'animals' and 'zoos' also limits the lexical variety of the response.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the number of animals... have reduced'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'zoos should not closed'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement and spacing. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and article usage would be a highly effective way to improve your score.
