Student answer (Band 5.0)

Yes I agree with it because nowadays we noticed that most of the zoo have low maintenance due to this mostly animals in the zoo are going to dead.

Now if the zoo has proper well maintaince i agree if the animals are provided with proper food, water, natural wildlife with proper ventilation. And it's useful for the students to study the wild animals sanctuary .

In zoo we can study and gain the knowledge by visual vision that show great impact to us, for individual study about particular animal we can gain knowledge in specific period of time we can have exact information about specific animals since from newborn to till death about this part i agree with.

Mostly i don't agree because as we live in the freedom, so not online peoples but animals also should feel freedom in there specific space here we can see better wildlife sanctuaries. Nowadays most of the zoos are not maintained and mostly are in the middle of the city that effect the animals cause to death like air polution, water polution etc . That leads to end the animals life which are protecting not to extinct.

For endangered animals we should take care with well maintaince that helps us not to extinct the animals .so we should we should keep the animals in there natural wildlife sanctuaries that's shows Greater results in animal, avoid the animals not to keep in zoo which are in danger position that show Good results so due to this few reasons I don't agree with it

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt but struggles to maintain a consistent position. You start by agreeing that zoos should be closed, then pivot to conditional agreement, and finally conclude by stating you 'don't agree' with the premise. This lack of a clear, sustained position makes it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. While you touch on relevant points like animal welfare, pollution, and conservation, the ideas are often contradictory or under-developed. To improve, ensure you choose a clear stance at the beginning and support it consistently throughout the essay, avoiding self-contradiction.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear logical progression. Paragraphing is used, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is disjointed. There is a heavy reliance on simple, repetitive transitions like 'mostly' and 'nowadays,' and the lack of sophisticated cohesive devices makes the flow feel mechanical. For example, the transition between the benefits of zoos and the argument for their closure is abrupt. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore,' 'consequently,' 'on the other hand') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure each paragraph has a single, clear focus.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'good,' 'bad,' and 'study.' There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word-choice errors, such as 'going to dead' instead of 'dying' and 'visual vision' which is redundant. You also struggle with collocations, such as 'well maintaince' (maintenance) and 'effect the animals cause to death.' To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'conservation,' 'habitat,' 'captivity,' and 'ethical implications,' and pay closer attention to word forms and standard collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure. For instance, 'not online peoples but animals also should feel' is syntactically incorrect, and 'avoid the animals not to keep in zoo' is confusing. You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that your verbs and subjects agree and that your clauses are connected correctly with appropriate punctuation.
