Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, some wildlife animals are vanished from the earth like dianosaurs, dodos and mammoths. To protect other species, we do not need to kept them in zoos. Although, the best way is that zoos should be closed. I agree with this view point. This essay will discuss my opinion further with relevant examples.
To begin with, it saves animals life or improves life expectancy. To elaborate in this, animals are not differ from humans. They feel same things, so lockup animals inside a cage is one kind of jail for them, and they suffer from suffocation like human. For example, scientific research reports that the foremost reason of lost animals is zoos, because thery are not able to survive in closed environment. Wildlife animals have to live in forest areas. As a result, most of the species are disappeared in present.
Furthermore, zoos are made only for entertainment as well as relaxation purpose of people. Also, they think that zoos are one of the best tourists attraction places. For instance, in india, there are several forest areas like gir, ambuja, kalikath etcetera, instead of visit that places individuals' want zoos because they are afraid of wildlife animals. However, lost of species may occurs problem, beause animals are adopt with environment or nature, and zoos are reduced their population by kept them in the cage.
Summing up, it can be reiterated that animals are completely vanished, if people are kept them in zoos. wildlife species are protect our environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of closing zoos. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The arguments regarding animal welfare and the role of zoos are presented but lack depth and logical support. For instance, the claim that zoos are the 'foremost reason' for species loss is an unsupported generalization that weakens the argument. While the essay covers the requirements of the task, the reasoning is often simplistic and lacks the necessary academic rigor to fully explore the complexities of the topic. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'To elaborate in this' and 'Summing up' are used, but the logical flow between sentences is frequently disrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'scientific research' and the conclusion about zoos is tenuous. The progression of ideas is present but lacks the sophistication required for a higher band score, as the transitions between arguments feel somewhat disjointed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'wildlife animals' (redundant), 'lockup animals' (should be 'locking up'), and 'lost of species may occurs problem'. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the lack of precision and frequent errors in word formation hinder the overall quality. To improve, the student needs to focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form and context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with verb forms ('do not need to kept', 'are not differ', 'are disappeared'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. While the student attempts to use complex sentences, these are often marred by errors, such as 'because animals are adopt with environment'. The punctuation is generally functional, but the persistent grammatical inaccuracies significantly limit the clarity of the writing. A greater focus on basic sentence construction and verb tense consistency is necessary to improve this score.
