Student answer (Band 5.5)

Animals are so pretty invention of god so they also have equals rights to live on earth. If we talk about statement they said that we have no longer need to have animals kept in zoos, thats why these should be closed. I partily agree with this statement.

To commence with, there are so many reasoons that no longer need to have kept animals in zoos. Firslty, fredom of animals is take down by humans as they also right to live by their own survival skills. Another cause is that humans used the animals for their own greed and earn to more money, for example, small animals were used in many zoos and also in circus such as dolphins, monkey, elephants, darks, numbers of animals.

On the other side, in modern era jungles are destroyed by numbers of projects to build more industries,Due to this cause, animals loose their living place then zoos are best for save themselfs, tiger, beers, darks , elephants monkeys. Moreover, as compared to invention of people that time people kill the animals for food but in these days people shot the animals for enjoyments during jungle safaries for example, deers tigers and many more. As a result zoos is the good place to save many limited animals. lastly, small children cannot visit the jungles for look out the animals so, zoos are best option to see the differnt animals.Due to this children are showing their love to animals feel the invention of nature.

To conclude, from my viewpoint there are number of reasons to closed the zoos for permanent, used for own greed. on the side of coin these are worthful for soceites for young ones and old people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by providing arguments for both sides, though the position is somewhat inconsistent. You state you 'partially agree' but then conclude by suggesting zoos should be closed for good, while also acknowledging their value. The ideas are relevant, such as animal rights and conservation, but they are often under-developed. For instance, the point about children visiting zoos is mentioned but lacks a clear link to the broader debate about animal captivity. To improve, ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and maintained consistently throughout the essay, with each paragraph focusing on a single, well-supported argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'on the side of coin' or 'to commence with'. There are also issues with referencing; for example, the transition between the discussion of animal cruelty and the benefits of zoos is abrupt. The logical progression is sometimes hindered by unclear sentence connections. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each sentence flows logically from the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors that impede clarity, such as 'pretty invention of god' instead of 'beautiful creatures' and 'worthful' instead of 'beneficial'. You also struggle with collocations, such as 'take down' for freedom and 'save themselfs'. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'conservation' or 'safaris', the overall range is restricted. To improve, focus on learning word families and common collocations rather than individual words, and pay closer attention to the spelling of basic terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally make the meaning difficult to grasp. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'zoos is the good place'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'Due to this cause, animals loose their living place then zoos are best for save themselfs, tiger, beers, darks , elephants monkeys.' The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. To improve, practice basic sentence construction and proofread for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
