Nowadays, people think that their is no need to keep the animals in the zoos so, we should escape the animals and zoos should be closed. Although it may be true to some extent, it have adverse effects on our social lives. In this essay we will discuss the both.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons for both sides, the arguments are brief and rely on general statements rather than detailed explanation or specific examples. For instance, the point about 'revenue' is repeated in the body paragraph and the conclusion without further elaboration on how this benefits society or conservation. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand your supporting points with more depth and logical progression, ensuring that each argument is fully explored rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, such as the transition between the discussion of animal rights and the economic arguments. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall logical flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'Firsty' instead of 'Firstly', 'abbhorant' instead of 'abhorrent', 'zology' instead of 'zoology', and 'shalter' instead of 'shelter'. These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and pay closer attention to spelling. Using synonyms to avoid repeating words like 'zoos' and 'revenue' would also demonstrate a stronger command of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('zoos generates', 'it have adverse effects', 'zoo must be stay open') and incorrect word forms ('their' instead of 'there'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors indicate a lack of control over complex structures. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and proofreading for basic grammatical slips, as these errors currently prevent the writing from reaching a higher band level.
