Student answer (Band 5.0)
It has been observed that in todays world wildlife become a debate. Some believe that to placed animals in outside the zoo as their is no longer needed, it should be closed. I persume the benefits of these precautionary action would surpass its disadvantages to a major extent. My position is further elaborated with reasons and relevant examples.
To begin from the place where they belonged and seen from many years. Animals are those creation whom from start of the day were under control to individuals as they do not have sense. As a result, they should be in charge in a limited zone of their habitat. Moreover, zoo is build for humans to know about their other species, by visiting there know about their habitat seen how they differ from us also what they impact on our lives.
Examining the side effects of animals stay away from their place such as, lion, tiger, bear, zebra . First, zoo is not just a cage which seen from outside it is a protection for every individuals, furthermore, they interact with them comfortably in a safer zone. For example, if these are roaming like us then where should human being gone. However, both creatures do not live in a same zone at a time.
In conclusion, although all animals are not to be placed outside zoo safe for human. I believe, they should be closed as from years they spent their lives in there specific place. So, they are locked in their area makes people comfortable to visit and tell their children about wildlife as they are differ from us.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a position, but the development of ideas is inconsistent and often confusing. While you argue that zoos should be closed, your supporting paragraphs contain contradictory statements, such as suggesting animals should be in a 'limited zone' and then later arguing for their closure. The reasoning is frequently unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between animal behavior and the necessity of zoos is not logically established. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, clear argument that directly supports your thesis, and provide more coherent examples to illustrate your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes applied incorrectly or do not effectively link the sentences. For instance, the transition between the discussion of animal habitats and human safety is abrupt. Referencing is also problematic; it is often unclear what 'they' or 'these' refers to in your sentences. To reach a higher band, focus on using cohesive devices more naturally and ensure that each sentence flows logically from the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors that impede clarity, such as 'wildlife become a debate' instead of 'a subject of debate' and 'precautionary action' which does not fit the context. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to express complex ideas precisely. To improve, try to learn collocations (words that naturally go together) and avoid translating directly from your native language. Expanding your range of synonyms and using more academic terminology will help you convey your arguments more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('wildlife become', 'zoo is build'), incorrect verb forms ('to placed'), and sentence fragments. These errors are persistent and occasionally make it difficult for the reader to follow your meaning. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that your subjects and verbs agree and that your tenses are used consistently. Proofreading for basic punctuation and word order will also significantly improve your score.
