Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, some people says that there is no need of zoos. But, I completely disagree with this statement. Beacause this is the place of entertainment of our childerns.
Firstly, if zoos should be closed there is no any entertainment place in the city. What i meant by this is that when we went to zoo with with our childerns they becomes happy to see big play grounds and spend very happily time and also sees there is many animals in the zoo and learned many things. Secondly, why i disagree with this our childerns learn many things form zoo like animal names and birds. For instance, the son of my brother was goes to zoo on daily basis and play some games and has looks physically very fit and active in every time.
Another reason is that many areas was represented by zoo name. Many schools and colleges plan to trip zoos on another cities for freshment of students and this is the way of visiting of other cities and this purpose has also increased the business of the market. when childerns come with trip they mostly spend money on food to explore taste of the city and on play ground swings. Specifically, in recant research paper shows that many schools and collage trips from Lahore and Multan arrived to Bahawalpur National Park Lalsohanra and this place is famoused by zoo name and 50 percent business becomes from trips.
In Conclusion, the concept of no need of animals and zoo closed i completely disagree with this statement. These are the places of entertainment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against closing zoos. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments focus almost exclusively on children's entertainment and local economic benefits, which are somewhat narrow in scope. The essay lacks a broader discussion of the role of zoos in conservation, education, or research, which would have provided a more balanced and sophisticated response. While the position is maintained throughout, the supporting points are repetitive and rely on personal anecdotes rather than well-developed, generalized arguments. To improve, you should explore the multifaceted nature of the topic rather than focusing solely on one aspect.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Beacause this is the place' at the start of a sentence or the repetitive use of 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Another reason'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between the benefits for children and the economic impact is abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors, which makes the overall coherence feel somewhat strained.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'place', 'things', and 'happy'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and word formation, such as 'famoused', 'freshment', and 'recant research paper'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the lack of precision and the frequent misuse of collocations (e.g., 'spend very happily time') indicate a need for a wider range of vocabulary and better control over word forms to express ideas more accurately and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some people says', 'childerns... becomes'), article usage, and sentence structure (e.g., 'if zoos should be closed there is no any entertainment place'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some unsuccessful attempts at complex ones. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization. These errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader, indicating a need for significant improvement in basic grammatical control.
