Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state a clear position, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient depth. The points regarding human safety and poaching are mentioned but not effectively expanded upon with logical reasoning or clear examples. The response is too brief to fully address the complexity of the prompt, resulting in a fragmented argument that does not explore the counter-arguments or provide a comprehensive view of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The essay lacks a clear structure. While there is an attempt to use transition words like 'first of all' and 'second of all', the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by unclear phrasing and grammatical errors. Paragraphing is not used effectively to separate distinct ideas, and the connection between sentences is often weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. The overall organization is disjointed, and the lack of cohesive devices makes the text feel like a series of disconnected statements rather than a cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is very limited and often inaccurate. You rely on basic, repetitive words, and there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'human save from the animals' instead of 'protecting humans from animals' and 'cheepest way' instead of 'illegal practice'. The misuse of terms like 'honer' (honor/responsibility) and 'create problem' further hinders clarity. To improve, you need to focus on learning more precise vocabulary related to the topic and ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammar is highly problematic throughout the essay. There are frequent errors in sentence construction, verb tense, and subject-verb agreement, such as 'the Lion is go to the busy place' and 'I am disagree in the statement'. The lack of complex sentence structures and the prevalence of basic, error-ridden sentences make the writing difficult to read. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
