Student answer (Band 5.5)
One of the most widely debted issues is about Zoos. Opinions are sharply divided on wether the concept of zoos should be abolished or not. From my percpictive I firmly agree with this clue due to several reasons.
One compelling argument in favor of this view is to attempt to preserve as many animals as possible. In many countrys, creatures are treating rudely additionally sometimes they are not provided the diet that they need. By closing zoos these animlas can eat from the nature or even eat each others if they were preditors. Another jusstifation lies in the fact that individuals ceased visiting zoos. That is mainly since the concept is zoo is antiquated. In the past the only approach for citizens to see new spieces of animals was in the zoo. For contray, individuals can obsreve any animal specie they want even if it was extencted using there phones.
Opponents of this view maintain that zoos is a facinating destination for tourists and it demonstrate a country culture and tradition. This view point fails to consider the broader implications of the fundemental clue that the animals life is significantly more crucial than the tradition and costume. According to numrous cities, forigen citizens usually attend exhbition activites or they visit religeous places not animals.
Taking everything into account, I stand with the idea that we no longer need zoos mainly due to the animals' saftey and for thier food. This concept promots sustainable enhancment and benifits particulary each country and the socitey as whole.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument that animals should be released to 'eat each others' is illogical and lacks a sophisticated understanding of conservation or animal welfare. While the main points are relevant, the supporting arguments are often under-developed or rely on questionable logic, such as the claim that tourists only visit religious sites rather than zoos. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced reasoning regarding the role of zoos in modern conservation versus the ethical concerns of captivity.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One compelling argument', 'Another justification', and 'Taking everything into account'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing. Referencing is generally clear, though the transition between the counter-argument and your rebuttal could be smoother. The structure is sufficient to guide the reader through your argument, but it lacks the sophisticated, flexible management of cohesion required for higher bands.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but shows significant limitations. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'debted', 'wether', 'percpictive', 'countrys', 'jusstifation', 'spieces', 'extencted', 'facinating', 'fundemental', 'numrous', 'forigen', 'exhbition', 'religeous', 'promots', 'enhancment', 'socitey'). These errors are numerous and occasionally distract the reader. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'antiquated' and 'implications', the overall range is limited, and the high frequency of spelling mistakes prevents the response from achieving a higher score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('zoos is a facinating destination', 'animals life is'), incorrect word forms ('they are treating rudely'), and awkward phrasing ('the concept is zoo is antiquated'). While these errors rarely impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentence structures are constructed with correct syntax.
