Student answer (Band 5.0)

We do not have to take animals in the zoos and Zoos must be band .in this statement i am complitely disagree because its may helpful to animals stay safe and healthy.

Overall, zoo help to save animals from the decline rate.in the present the here is lots of zoo where people goes there to gain entertainment, for education ,to make contain ectra.

in the disagree side, zoos are really helpful to learn about animals charactristic, importance, fartilizations methods,.just couple month ago i ,my youngest sister and my family went there .there we saw a lot of animals such:tiger, monkey, rihno, different kinds of birds and this all has a own own importants and we also learn about these animals .it means if we have zoo and there has a differents kinds of animals .through the zoo we can learn about animals featers, their roles, and also would help to save the their heredity .in fact ,in the jungle every animals is not safe from hunters and unfortunutely they will be obligant to loss their life or lose their generations.

also there has a disadvantage of having zoo ,in the zoo animals would safe but animals can not run frelly, can not eat what they want and they have fearness.in the zoo animals care peson treat them badly to control their temper or behaviour.

conclusion,

in conclusion, having a zoos is not bad and not completely good however i strongly disagree and also i wiil support to build and save the zoo.i hope in the future this trend would have gone far away and would save the animals extension.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you disagree with closing zoos, and you give relevant reasons, including animal protection and public education. The family visit provides a personal example, while the paragraph acknowledging restricted movement and poor treatment shows awareness of the opposing view. These points address the task, but they are not developed equally. For instance, you say zoos help animals “stay safe and healthy” and protect their “heredity,” but do not explain how zoos support conservation or give a specific example. The concern about animals being treated badly is also introduced but not weighed against your position. Explain each main reason with clearer detail and show why the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow your general position. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and linking is often mechanical or imprecise. The phrase “in the disagree side” does not clearly introduce the next point, while “Overall” begins a paragraph that seems to add a reason rather than summarise the essay. Several ideas are crowded together in the long paragraph about your visit, with education, animal characteristics and protection from hunters all appearing without clear separation. Use topic sentences to signal each paragraph’s purpose, group related details, and use pronouns and connectors that make the relationships between ideas explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “entertainment,” “education,” “hunters,” and “generations,” and you communicate the main ideas despite inaccuracies. However, the range is limited and several word choices, forms and spellings make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “decline rate,” “fartilizations methods,” “featers,” and “animals extension”; these do not express the intended ideas clearly. Repetition of “animals,” “zoo” and “helpful” also limits precision. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations. For example, use “conservation” for protecting species, “natural behaviours” for how animals act, and “endangered species” when discussing animals at risk of extinction.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use both short statements and attempts at longer sentences, including a conditional idea about animals being unsafe in the jungle. This shows some range, but control is inconsistent: sentence boundaries, verb forms, agreement, articles and plurals often need attention. For example, “Zoos must be band” has an incorrect passive form, and “if we have zoo and there has a differents kinds” does not form a clear, accurate clause. The opening also joins ideas with a full stop and lowercase “in” in a way that disrupts sentence structure. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then connect them with clauses such as “because” and “although.” Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and review articles and singular/plural forms.
