Student answer (Band 5.5)
We have no need more of animals in zoos, thus animals house should be closed. i disagree on this statement because safari product protect the animals and do help of conservation.moreover, the wildlife park also learn the students about study of animals.
First argument is that the zoo protect the animal especially which are endangered, because these animals are very less number in the world. However, the zoo create more animals from endangered species by breading, but some other extinction animals also face some challenges and in danger. In addition, the students can learn by see the wildlife animals and study about these animals, while these animals park also spread awareness about the animals and environment, So zoo is very important for animals. For instance, when any animals which will on endangered and very less number of these animals, So it can only save in wildlife park.
Second argument is that scientists can search on those animals which are very short lives, then on this search scientists can invent any discovery which is helpful for animals and animals live more in world. By contrast, the safari park also gave the information to individuals about animals and other endangered species, then more people encouraged about environment and animals and develope more interest for study about animals. For example, many students visit zoo and see the animals then they read about the animals and better understand about the animals.
In conclusion, we can not close zoo completely, because they protect the animals and spread awareness about the endangered animals. As a result, i completely disagree on this statement, because it is essential for wildlife animals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you disagree with closing zoos, and you give relevant reasons involving conservation, education and scientific research. The examples about endangered animals being protected and students learning through visits help address the question. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. For instance, the claim that scientists can make discoveries that help animals live longer is vague; explain what research zoos enable and how it benefits wildlife. The point about breeding endangered species also needs clarification, and the response could acknowledge the opposing view—for example, concerns about animal welfare—before explaining why conservation benefits outweigh it. Developing these points with more precise support would make your argument more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate arguments, and a conclusion that restates your position. Sequencing phrases such as “First argument,” “Second argument,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the overall organisation. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and links between ideas are not always clear. “However” introduces a point that supports your argument rather than contrasting with it, while repeated use of “then” and “because” makes some sentences feel loosely connected. References such as “these animals” and “this search” can also be unclear. Use a wider range of accurate transitions and make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit; this would create smoother progression within paragraphs.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “endangered species,” “conservation,” “wildlife park,” and “awareness,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to follow. For example, “safari product protect the animals” does not clearly express your point, and “create more animals from endangered species by breading” uses an unsuitable phrase and an incorrect spelling. “Very short lives” also appears to mean that the animals are few in number, not that they live briefly. Aim to learn topic-specific collocations and check word forms and spelling, while avoiding repeated use of “animals” where a precise alternative is available.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “while,” and “which,” and the overall argument remains understandable. However, sentence structures are often faulty, particularly when several ideas are joined together. For example, “when any animals which will on endangered and very less number of these animals” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “the wildlife park also learn the students” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. There are also recurring errors with articles, plurals, verb forms and punctuation, as in “i disagree” and the comma splice in “conservation.moreover.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for complete clauses and correct punctuation.
