Student answer (Band 5.5)

Firstly, I am Nepali native citizen and our nation has a large numbers of zoo, it has kept various type of animals. Specially, in the we can observed most of extinct species. kepting animals in zoo offers both side of vision for instance, agreeness either disagreeness.

On the one hand, most of the individuals argue that, we have to give freedom for all animals. They believed that all type of speces have their own family, emotions, and their perspective rights. Morever, I also appreciete it cause according to my educational knowledge, animals have to be freedom for their fundamental development. In the modern generation, there are a lot's of community, bussines owners and the several group of individuals are involed to kept animals in zoo and make it source of income using them.

On the other hand, few groups of people demonstrate that, kepting in zoo animals are most secure for them. For instrance most of the wild animals are not safe from hazardous or toxic animals, if we kept them in zoo, then they will be secure and they have more safety compared to the wild. I presume that, it has also benefits to visitors. It also manufactures employment on various sector.

Analysing the both visions, there are several distinctive on both sides however, I strongly believe that is animals should be free for their well being and substantial development. In addition, the government should be discouraged for prevent the zoo bussines commence and exploitation of animals.

In conclusion, if we gave animals freedom, they would be strong and the might be abble to doing themselves ideal.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You present a relevant position: you ultimately support animals being free and oppose the continuation of zoos. You also acknowledge arguments on both sides, including animal welfare, visitor benefits, and employment. However, the response only partially develops the task. The reasons for closing zoos are mostly asserted—for example, that animals need freedom for their “fundamental development”—without explaining the effects of captivity or giving a specific example. The opposing case that zoos protect animals is also unclear and not weighed against your position. Your conclusion restates your view but adds little support. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly in the introduction, explain each main reason with cause-and-effect detail, and use a relevant example to support your argument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, two contrasting body paragraphs, a paragraph weighing the views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the intended stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the opening’s reference to “both side of vision” is unclear, and the final body paragraph introduces a recommendation about government without smoothly connecting it to the preceding discussion. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, and references such as “it” in “it has also benefits” do not clearly identify what is meant. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, then explain and illustrate it, using linking and reference words only where their meaning is precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “extinct species,” “fundamental development,” “exploitation,” and “employment,” and you use some relevant terms to discuss animal welfare and captivity. However, the range is limited by repeated or inaccurate expressions, which sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “kepting animals,” “agreeness either disagreeness,” and “manufactures employment”; these are not natural collocations or word forms. Spelling errors such as “speces,” “Morever,” and “appreciete” also reduce accuracy. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing captivity, conservation, and animal welfare, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer clear, natural wording over ambitious vocabulary that does not fit the sentence.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if we kept them in zoo, then they will be secure” and a concluding conditional beginning “if we gave animals freedom.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction frequently make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “our nation has a large numbers of zoo” has a singular–plural mismatch, while “animals have to be freedom” uses an incorrect grammatical pattern. The opening also contains incomplete or poorly connected clauses. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, and verb forms. Punctuate sentence boundaries clearly so each idea is complete.
